Details
Lace aims to overcome a crucial challenge in mixing and mastering: effectively combining limiting and digital clipping without compromising sound quality. Many True Peak Limiters struggle with managing transients, which are instantaneous peaks of sound produced by percussive instruments, that can result in being attenuated or distorted. Moreover, these limiters can negatively affect low frequencies, reducing them and thus compromising the fullness and warmth of the mix, leading to tracks that sound overly bright or compressed.

Lace is designed to overcome these obstacles, preserving the transients and the integrity of the low frequencies. It also addresses the issue of level variations caused by suboptimal reaction times in traditional limiters, which can lead to excessive use of limiting. This, in turn, can alter the dynamic balance of the track, especially in quieter sections. With Lace, the goal is to offer all the benefits of an advanced limiter, solving these fundamental problems to ensure a balanced and consistent sound throughout your mix.

Clipper (Peak Stop) in Lace sounds worse than old Izotope 5 (FIVE!!!) Maximizer in the fastest IRC 1 release mode.
It's smearing transients. Highs are late in time. Like all Junkustica plugins.
Which year it was released? Yearly 2012?
Blind tested.

Actually Acustica does have some plugins that are pretty great. Pumpkin Pro and El Rey 2 are fantastic. Ash Ultra as well

Highly doubt Izotope 5 beats out LACE. But then again you bash on all things Acustica haha but I agree with you with respect to the demo its smearing transients.. but what about turning on the PRE? and using the clean options? might solve some of the issues

Compare them blindly with LUFS-I output matched and same gain reduction. I compare by myself before write my toughs here. Acustica PRE\Saturation (whateva man!) give nothing but a phase mess and transients smearing. This is their biggest snake oil whole time that company exist.

I said in the Ocean request thread, I am suspecting something has changed and R2R is not able to keep posting or something. Our one hope is that they are doing Silver with all the reverb libraries. That would be a massive job and would take the witches a long time to assemble. But what worries me about that is it seems like first, they would have caught up the Mac versions of the recent ones they posted for Windows before starting on a long wait for Silver. They didn't do that, so Mac users have been waiting for the recent plugs they did for Windows and they haven't been posted. I think the Witches would have caught up the Mac folks before they began on the massive Silver package.

So that fact makes me believe something else is wrong, AA has fihured out how to stifle the Witches or something. The Witches, I believe, would have caught up the Mac users first before starting on Silver, so I am afraid something else is wrong and we may not see anymore Aquas for a good while.
