Are you sure that you followed R2R instructions exactly:
1. Deleted all trace of prior install before installing
2. Block access to Line6 url

Even your DAW should be blocked from the intternet.

If you do this, it should work.

there is a known issue someone posted on AS about how Helix wont work for a certain Hard Disk lettering (1 instead of 0 or something) that conflict with the protection. Can possibly be solved with hard reset and formatting only I believe.

Yep. I have that problem. I use an Intel NUC at home, and in NUC mini-PCs the M.2 port is hardwired as drive 1 while the SATA port is drive 0. I obviously want to use my M.2 NVMe drive as my C: drive, but in that case I can't use Line 6 software. Line 6 software requires that your C: drive is drive 0.

I doubt that this is the problem Slint has though. If he got a version of Helix from V.R running, it can't be the drive 0 problem. If he has the same problem as me, no version of Helix (or any other Line 6 software) should be able to run, even legit versions.
