REQ: Foleysoft Footsteps

Create great sounding foley footsteps for any scene with a collection of 6 shoe types and 14 surfaces. Round robin and front step vs heel variation options creates a flexible approach to any scene to match production or international M&E. Assign different cloths to each shoe type for greater realism and blending.

Change the cloth type for every shoe. From Jeans to Nylon and even Chain Leather. Even works for just a “cloth pass” if shoes are muted.

6 Different Shoes on 14 Surface Combination will work on any scene.

It took forever, but every step of every round robin and mic position is edited to be only “heel” or “front” of the step, in addition to the full step and scuffs. For walk, medium pace and run. It might seem like a small feature but this enables a wide range of variety and realism. Sometimes a character is far away walking and a full step (front+heel) will not sound realistic, but only the heel will get closer to a desired sound that matches the envirnment of an actor or can work for a more realistic international M&E. Or mix and match between Full Step and front for a more natural sound.
