INFO:Mixbus 32C is a full-featured digital audio workstation that improves on the Mixbus platform with an exact emulation of the original Harrison 32C.
If you are striving to make "in the box" mixes that sound like a hit record, Mixbus32C is the tool you are looking for.
The Harrison 32C Analog LegacyThe original Harrison 32C analog console was used on records by Michael Jackson “Thriller”, Paul Simon “Graceland”, Janet Jackson, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, ELO, Genesis, Blondie, and Supertramp to name a few, and was instrumental in establishing the sound of those amazing records. Many of those consoles are still in operation throughout the world.
Because of the way the Mixbus32C mixer page is laid out, the most commonly used controls are displayed and are accessible at all times using a rich, high contrast, GUI design that gracefully and accurately emulates the original hardware version of the Harrison 32C console. This traditional layout not only looks good but allows the engineer to approach the console as if it were a musical instrument, directly affecting the art of mixing and contributing greatly to the success of any given mix.
New in Version 8
New “Cue” window
Cue window brings a familiar set of non-linear creative tools to Mixbus32c
Provides a clip launch grid where you can drag, drop and arrange your clips using an array of automated actions and grid controls.
Arrange the Cues on your linear song timeline using cue markers, solving a frequent frustration of grid-based looping tools.
Includes a collection of bundled content that gets you started fast, and comprehensive controls to manage your own clip collection. Or you can record to a track and bounce directly to a slot, where you can loop and arrange cues on the fly.
Import dozens of file formats from nearly any loop provider, including the Apple. CAF audio loops for Logic and Garageband.
Mixer Scenes – store and recall all your mix settings with a single mouse-click. Compare up to 8 different mixes to see which one is working best. Stash a safety mix that you can return to later. Or use the scenes to drive a realtime podcast/broadcast, switching between the hosts, the guests, and a band on-the-fly.
NuTempo – A new & improved timeline for MIDI and sequencing. NuTempo encodes the Audio-time and MIDI-time on separate domains and retains ultimate precision for both time domains when you operate on regions with Snap and other music-aware operations.
MIDI Draw Tools – Include 3 additional menus at the top of the editor. These buttons allow you to choose the Channel, Length, and Velocity of the notes you will draw. Alternatively, you can select Auto to return to the previous behavior, where Mixbus32C guesses those values from the surrounding notes in the Region.
Ripple All – When Ripple All is selected, then a Range selection will always propagate to all tracks; and deleting the Range will both ripple the tracks and the timeline markers in that time range.
