⚠️ Attention: Music Producers and Engineers...
Stop Wasting HOURS Fiddling With Compressor Settings!
After more than 15 years of earning my living as a professional engineer, I'm revealing a NEW way to learn compression — it's the only step-by-step training program that will show you how to:
Instantly HEAR compression...
Know when to use it and...
Set the right parameters... FAST!
(And yes, I guarantee it works, even if you have NO experience!)
YES, I NEED THIS!

Fair warning: If you want to hear the same old compression advice you can find elsewhere online, it might be best for you to just skip this information altogether. If you’re willing to keep an open mind, keep reading...
Dear fellow music producer,

If you find yourself wasting HOURS fiddling with compressor settings…

Struggling to hear the subtle changes…

And constantly worried whether you’re using too much… or too little compression in your mixes…

I have good news.

Because I’m about to share one of the most important mixing breakthroughs I’ve ever released to the public.

You see, I learned compression the hard way. But you don’t have to…

Compression suddenly "clicked" for me, all because of a little-known listening hack...

It’s all about avoiding the inevitable "side effect" of compression that is PREVENTING you from actually hearing the parameter changes, through no fault of your own!

You may not even be aware it’s happening. And there’s nothing you can do to stop it from happening. It’s physics…

You could be playing with those knobs for YEARS without ever learning how to hear the differences!

Imagine instead, being able to choose the right compressor for the sound you’re going for… and quickly dialing in the settings.

Now you’re not just saving a bunch of time, but people suddenly start telling you that your mixes sound more “polished.”

And you start cranking out KILLER mixes for yourself and your clients, faster than ever before.

No one talks about this.

But after 15+ years of earning my living as a professional engineer, I’ve finally had enough…

For the first time ever, revealing my step-by-step compression workflow.

Including my Parameter Isolation approach that will not only allow you to overcome the "Volume Effect" that's preventing you from hearing the subtle changes you're making...

But also quickly “set and forget” compressor controls like threshold, attack, and release to get exactly the sound you want, every time…
The biggest compression mistake is not what you’ve been told!
My name is Justin Colletti. I'm a professional audio engineer, I run SonicScoop, and I’ve helped over 1 million+ home studio musicians, producers, and engineers just like you take their productions to the next level.

But I’ve never revealed these little-known compression secrets…

Until now.
Justin Colletti in the mastering studio
Over the past 15+ years I've worked with, studied, or interviewed dozens of A-list mixers like Michael Brauer (John Mayer, Coldplay, My Morning Jacket), Manny Marroquin (Alicia Keys, John Legend, Kanye West, Imagine Dragons, Bruno Mars), Joe Chiccarelli (The White Stripes, U2, Beck, Spoon, The Strokes), and more!
You see, in a recent survey, we asked folks how they use compression in their mixes, and the results were SHOCKING.

55% of people know how compressors work.. in theory.

But they don’t know when (or why) to use compression in their mixes, or will often waste HOURS trying to dial in the perfect settings!

Or worse… because they’re so afraid of damaging their mix, they might just skip it altogether.

You may have even been told that the biggest mistake when it comes to compression is over-compression…

And yeah, it can make a mix sound flatter than a pancake.

But the truth is... Almost nothing defines the sound of modern records more than the sound of compression.

In fact, the best engineers in the game often use copious amounts of it. And it’s why their mixes sound the way they do!

Now, I’ve already told you about one of the negative side effects of compression… namely what I call the “Volume Effect” and how the Parameter Isolation method I've developed will help you overcome it...

But that's just the first step.
Why you need compression in EVERY mix
Lots of beginners and even some advanced mixers don't really know when or why to use compression – but it's absolutely crucial for a polished and finished-sounding mix.

Some of the ways to use compressors beyond just "level control" include...
Adding Excitement
Does your mix sound flat and lifeless? We can use compression to make it more sonically exciting and jump out at us more.
"Phatter" Sound
Does your mix sound too bright and thin? The right type of compression can make a sound or your entire mix sound fuller and fatter.
Smoother Sound
Want to smooth out some resonances? Or settle a sound more into the background? Compression can also help with how “glued together” your mix will sound.
More Clarity
How well are you able to hear different instruments in your final mix? We can use compression to add more perceived level and grit if necessary.
Of course, none of this matters if you don't also have a way to avoid the "Volume Effect" that's actually preventing you from hearing these subtle changes that can make all the difference!

I really wish someone would have explained this to me much sooner, rather than just a bunch of tips and tricks I didn't know how to use...

Which is why I’ve decided to finally reveal everything!
