Total layman question: is there some specific coding/technical problem that prevents the cracking of OT Sine Player (and libraries) and Spitfire Audio Player ?

I think it's a mixture of mainly three factors: Library size, DMCA and "hard-to-crack" software.

Spitfire is known for being really serious in regards to piracy, and crackers are more pressured to stop cracking their software in order to avoid potential legal issues. I suspect they've also realized that a denser library will reduce illegal traffic of their products for obvious practical reasons; most people won't bother/won't have enough space to store nearly 1TB for a single library. Lastly, their biggest products can only be used within their own software, which is heavily protected against crackers, although im sure it will be cracked eventually.

I assume Orchestral Tools follow similar strategies to protect themselves against piracy.
