REQ: Al Joseph Breaking Writer's Block Workshop

Writing music can feel like a total maze in the mind at times. Believe me, after 20 plus years of creating music I know exactly how frustrating and discouraging that can be. But there's always hope, throughout the years I've learned that having a clear system for my own personal writing style is the key to organizing these various ideas into steps for myself and the listener. And now you'll get the opportunity to get your filthy mitts on these methods as well!
In this tutorial you're going to learn how to write a full song in just ONE DAY. We're going to start with getting you familiar with how to create a road map using advanced arranging tools that will transform your library of ideas into a song you'll finally be proud of. Next you'll learn about song form and how I use this knowledge to make sure I never get stuck in the throws of analysis paralysis.
After that we go over how I think about riffs and their functions within that very song I'm working on. You'll then take your knowledge even further with concepts like Call & Response and how setting up that framework can and will cause ideas to flow out of you like a fountain. This is going to blow your mind...
If you've been stuck on you ideas for longer than you can take, then this workshop is the one for you. Let's jump right in!
