This is the most amazing guitar synth, I've been using it since it was first introduced for windows and it has really come a long way in version 2 so now it is usable flawlessly for live performing,
I use this with Positive Grid Bias FX2 on the guitar side and with various VSTi synths & instruments on the MIDI side and then blend them together for my desired sound. This is an absolute must have if you want to have a rich full bodied guitar & synth sound.

I've tried the old one (V1) and this new version and both are pretty good latency wise but not 100% accurate recognising repeating notes, specially if you play 1/8s and 1/16s. The V1 one still works just fine, I recommend you guys to try it cause the latency is pretty much the same and if you don't like the V1, the V2 would not be a night-and-day upgrade kind of experience.
Anyway, I spent a few days banging my head trying to bypass the annoying Trial interruption or even stop the VST from calling home with multiple Little Snitch kind apps without any success.
Let us know if anyone has a better luck.

Sage advice , and btw the V1 is 64 bit and works just fine on 10.15.7 for me ... according to FAQ "Yes, a single MIDI Guitar license can be used with both the Windows and Mac OS X version."
That led me to think that I could apply the license generated by the Keygen for the R2R Windows 2.2.1 version from 2018 on the V2 demo which of course is the full application but just not licensed: "Error license not found", I did try a few workarounds but couldn't apply the license from the windows keygen, but the V1 Hexwars release works just as well it seems , and currently just patching the midi output into Serum and the like in Gig Performer .. pretty effective so all's well, thanks for this !

I've also tried the V2 windows keygen on Mac but it does not work. I wish I knew how to crack it for Mac, unfortunately I have no such skills!

Dodo Midi is a free vst3 version that works pretty well monophonically , however from guitar or any polyphonic instrument when you play more than one note at a time , say naturally sloppy as almost anyone is then the Dodo midi guesses a note you didn't intend as is typically an octave or so lower , still interested in reverse engineering the windows Leyden generated license into something that would work on the Mac , in Canadian funds the MG2 license is $212 with current conversion rates from $149 US .
