Always been a big fan of Samplitude and Sequoia, used quite heavily in film scoring and over in Europe.
Now on Reaper and with the routing of this Daw, I feel like I am in chains running Protools or Studio One.

Would like see v16 here ( just to run it for a few minutes)

null tests do not reflect the truth, because they don't touch anything during null test don't touch fader, pan, insert, send, volume other , naturally the algorithm doesn't come into play. therefore they all come out equal.

Looks like the Seq releases were abandoned,in the past they were released very quickly.
Now almost 2 years have pasted without something new from any group! Too bad this was probably the best daw for serious work ,not the easiest to work for simple editing jobs but for multitrack and mastering among of not the best!

1° With Samplitude Pro X7, the differences are really getting smaller now.
2° The " simple editing jobs " are the easiest possible, as Samplitude / Sequoia were invented for that 20+ years ago. " Sample-itude ".
As already noted on AZ several times : those 2 birds work as Photoshop. Zoom into any part as much as needed, edit, sample edit. Move around OBJECTS, so : tracks+effets+MIDI, click, click, as layers in Photoshop. The original file(s) is (are) not even touched. It's a " vision " ( audio vision, image vision ), virtual, with reatime playing. So, also, everything is retrograde-able ( if the adjective exists ), except asked otherwise ( track freeze ).

The biggest difference between the 2 editions are the Mastering and Renovation tools that are only available in Sequoia.
