The large gothic church of Rotterdam was built in 15th century. The church was completed in 1525. Four hundred years later it was almost destroyed by a German bombardment in May of the year 1940. The interior of the sanctuary was entirely lost due to fire. There were left only the outer walls and a part of the tower. The restoration of the church was done after the World War, between 1947-1968.

The Wavelore Clavichord ($179.99) (Kontakt 4 and higher) is the world's first deeply sampled and programmed virtual clavichord. This rare and beautiful keyboard instrument was a favorite of renaissance and barouque composers, as well as a popular practice instrument for organists (it's extremely quiet!), though it fell into relative obscurity starting around the early nineteenth century. In the twentieth century, it's best known, perhaps, in the form of its electronic offspring, the Hohner Clavinet, which we all know to be one the funkyiest sounding instruments on record. See Stevie Wonder's "Superstition" for a well known example.

The Wavelore Brush Kit contains 208 samples from a 5-piece drumset. The kit consists of a kick drum, snare drum, hihats, and two rack toms, a ride cymbal, a crash cymbal, and a splash cymbal. The drumset was mic'd with a pair of overhead microphones, and the kick, snare, were also mic'd "close". In addition to all this, a microphone was placed in an adjacent room to capture some ambiance for the kick drum, hi-hats, and toms. In this virtual rendition, you can switch these mics on and off, as well as adjust their relative levels and panning for each part of the drum kit.

Featuring up to 16-way round-robin samples, Xpan-Drum is a collection of four sampled hand drums, each expandable to as many as four drums per MIDI channel. Each drum uses extensive Kontakt scripting to allow user-definable humanization of the ensemble's performance, including tuning, timing, dynamics, panning, and volume of each "virtual" layer. In addition to these features, we've added intelligent round-robin (surpassing the effectiveness of Kontakt's default behavior), voice conservation for efficient performance, keyswitching for realtime ensemble size control, and two "repetition keys" for fast repetitions without having to strike the same key repeatedly.

We set out to find the essence of classic versus iconoclastic. We set out to build a big, fat and extremely diverse drum palette that evoked an equal blend of warm, smooth 70's funk and cold, hard 80s electro and pop. Our aim was to make a drum library that is truly electro-organic: authentic and yet electronic in sound but organically playable, providing the best of both worlds.
