After the success of L.Dre Drum Kit vol. 2 & 3, I took a critical look at the original L.Dre Drum Kit Vol. 1 and felt that it didn't quite meet my standards. As a result, I made the decision to take it down from the store. However, I recently felt that the series still wasn't complete and set out to create a new and improved small version of the kit to replace the original!

Your Sound in Three Dimensions

HALO 3D Pan is a binaural panning plugin. It uses pre-recorded binaural impulse responses to simulate the sound of a sound source moving around the listener’s head. HALO 3D Pan has four main controls: azimuth, elevation, width, and focus. Azimuth controls the angle of the sound source around the listener’s head. Elevation controls the angle of the sound source above the listener’s head. Width controls amount of separation, in the azimuthal plane, between the stereo inputs of the sound sources. Focus fades between spatialized panning and traditional stereo panning.

It was later assembled in the studio and augmented with algorithmic programming in Csound.
