HyperStonik is a ROMpler with some delirious FX. (very strange effect ...). He succeeds his elder SloTone (KVRDC18). We can use it with 2 modes: Instrument or Loop mode. No need to MIDIfiles. Some OSCillator generate the beats. (You can compile some new instrument with a separate software not delivery in the preset package). You just need a .wav file (a loop) and with some appropriate setting, you can attach text file with it (in the same repertory) and save the slice config (file text with the same name of the sound).

This, in combination with the natural variation provided by using the resultant poly-rhythms to drive a (non-fixed length) step sequencer, that can treat a sequence of notes as a Schoenbergian 'pitch row' or Fortean 'set', creates the possibility for effortless experimentation without resorting to stochastic intervention, thus giving the user ultimate choice in the direction of their music, and therefore ultimate control.
