The Kantele is a traditional plucked string instrument of the zitherfamily native to Finland and Estonia which, in turn, is part of the Baltic Psalteries instrument group. The KANTELE has a distinctive bell-like sound and diatonic tuning. Our Kantele has five strings tuned in G-A-B-Cand D, but we made a Kontakt patch to play it in chromatic tuning.

The Spieluhr (as known as musicbox) is a small instrument which produces sounds by the use of a set of pins placed on a rotating cylinder plucking the tuned teeth of a steel comb*. Our musicboxes are tiny with a size of 2,4 x 2 x 1. The Glockenspiel is a percussion instrument, composed of a set of tuned metal bars resting over a frame like a trough. We used the legendary red children model of Hohner™ with a small range from C4 to F5.Thanks to their high pitch, both instruments produce a very assertive and bright sound.
