AdWare Redirect Complaints screenshot
for quite some time i've seen reports regarding so called Adware Redirects.
If i understand correctly, they work like this: you visit AudioZ and get redirected to another page, like that one on the screenshot.

I personally think that it is completely unacceptable, therefore i've tried everything to prevent this problem, however i still don't know what really causes it

1. Yes, it's related to banners, because when i take them off, this problem does not occur;
2. It's not our advertisers fault, because i've tried 3 different companies and received same complaints on redirects;
3. It's obviously not in my code;
4. Only around 2% of users experience this problem;
5. I've seen some articles saying that it might be happening on the client-side, but our member Haze confirmed that it's not the case.

UPD: Thanks to our members, we've established that this is not happening on our side, but yours.

If you experience this problem, please read comments.

However, I do not recommend you to edit your hosts file, install NoScript plugin or setup anything besides AdBlocker.
The only smart solution is to download trial copy of Kaspersky Internet Security, scan your whole computer with it, fix the problem, and after you see how great it is - buy it.

Agreed. This is totally client side. I've never found anything related to ADware crap here. Scan your computer. Chances are you can google this free FLV player pop-up stuff and there will be detailed instructions on how to uninstall these files that make these pop-ups. Just be vigilant! I will actually look around and see if I can find anything.

Its about a long time ago I am laughing about people telling shit about Chrome or firefox are better than IE !! I saw many computers infected and people dloading Chrome to avoid the problem. Its like thinking with an aspirin you can beat AIDS !!

Once you are infected, you are fucked. Google is worst than Microsoft, there is nothing now we can do on the Internet within, google shit, google ads, google widget and where is google sucking, google cooking and google going to work instead of me ? I ve got google everywhere on my computer, my smartphone (but not In my ass ;).
Half of the software you are using for free, install google chrome !! Just take the "I will choose what I want to install" way not the "basic features way". Toolbars are shit (all of them !!). Even the one included in your favourite antivirus, its like they now all the results of your searching lists, all your favourite websites ...

Domov its not because you are using Opera (or other new browser you want) that your computer is no infected anymore !!

First of all UNCHECK SYSTEM RESTORE, Uninstall all the "adds" "toolbars" (weather,sports,info,budys,friends search ...) Download a bunch of anti/virus/spyware, make one scan in the normal mode (unplugged your internet connexion it will help),reboot in safe mode make a second scan . Search for the way to erase your "temporary internet files" + "windows temporary files" (depend of what version of windows you are using).

Most of the porns websites use "flash" (I take this example because its where most of the shit is) and this is where you ve got this thing telling you that your version of Adobe Flash player is useless. But if you read all the page (instead of clicking everywhere like a geek) you WILL SEE THAT ITS NOT AN ORIGINAL ADOBE PRODUCT !!! TIP: if you are not sure of what to do, go to the official Adobe website, see if ther is an update of your product.

Computers are making people lazy, make them lost their sense of reality. Use your, brain, read, and by some glasses if you cant !!!! Use integrated links of your sofware for an update, not blinking, flashing po-up.

Last, if you are using a browser, and this one is working fine, and suddenly after being on a "special" website, he is not working the same, its because you are infected !! Not because suddenly your browser is a big shit ...
Baguette, camembert and red wine ... this is life man !!

I had this problem for a little while and thinking it's just an ad and pop up which it is .I decided to read saints post because that's what was happening to me but was actually getting worse .Here's what I did I did download malwarebytes, I uninstalled Google and all the helpers ,all free programs like free codek and such. I tried to go to sites to test and used audioz and others, and the popups were gone except one of "when I click download " that's when it popped up now I run malware bytes it found one malware .restarted computer and all is fine ! I think its all adware. Also Bonboss is actually totally right. On top of that Google is taking all the private information and selling it. I'm glad I did read the post which made me fix the problem. Thanx saint ...

well lets all think for a sec, does It happen anywhere else?
and who benefits from ads. when we go to the download sites popups occur, they get paid for it.

i think it is/was ad-related. in the last days of the old audioz i was often redirected to a fake java-runtime site. but my system was and is totally clean. (fullscan with forefront, spybot, malwarebytes. only tracking cookies were found)
so it should be an hijacked ad that does/did this redirects.

btw. maybe peeplink is the problem where the hijacked ad comes from.

Of course it's not! --- If it was, after hundreds and hundreds of times using peelink, by now I should be, not simply infected, but dead and buried!!!

might sound mean...

I use anti banners/pop up. I don't even see any banners lol

A combination of AdBlock Plus (https://adblockplus.org/en) and Ghostery (www.ghostery.com) fix the problem for complete.

Both are completely customizable, so you can block everything or select what you want to block.

Each program block different things, so is convenient to install both.

The antivirus and/or the antimalaware don´t look to deal well with this problem due the adds are not exactly risky programs.

The problem resides in an extreme and annoying use of legal resorces, like banners or pop-ups, that don´t damage the computer or the software but gets crazy the user.

I have this problem with macbook pro and safari, only on audioz. For now, the workaround is to disable javascript when I surf audioz.

that is not a workaround at all. please read all the comments in this post and find the right solution

I have used this site for probably over a decade and I thank every one of the uploaders and staff, yes I have recently decided to join as I was fed up of all the CAPCHA's etc. Though saying that audioz is still riddled with re-directs and scripts trying to load themselves. I can't even log in as a member without first being redirected to "bestbuy" or some other site when I click on the login button. I have several browser adblockers running and just as I type there are 8 blocks just on this page alone. WHY?

i know that's very frustrating, but trust me it takes lot's of money to run AudioZ and there aren't that much paid offers these days, we have to survive with what we can.
