I have analyzed mirrors that our contributors choose to upload to, and now i offer you to vote for the best one.

In result of this voting, we will make it a new rule to add the chosen file sharing service in every post.

there is no point in offering RS or any other services that i haven't included in this list, so please don't spam the comments.

UPD:
there is a newer poll on this subject!

btw: maybe a group very loved by audiousers stopped releasing because this shitty filesharingcrap where some ppl make money without really doing something (uploading warez to somewhere is nothing).
they dont crack it for ppl making money with, they offered for free.
warez should be free, its try before buy, when you make money with please buy the used appz
and when you want pay for something fuck the hell pay for the appz not for filesharingcompanies.
or go on, destroy the philosophy of warez but dont cry for groups you miss
YOU made them to stop their great work, because they respect companies, respect the philosophy but DO NOT respect shitfaces making money with warez

I like the constructive conversation that's going on here. Not everyone agrees with all points, but it hasn't devolved into mass name calling aside from a few people.

So, I think that the problem is that we have too few suppliers of audiowarez, and instead of supplying the official scene (which they could if they wanted to), they want to make money.

I think that's a large part of the problem. And both you and Rico88 are probably right about cracking teams (ASSiGN in particular) not enjoying all the profit that was made off of releases in general, including their own.

Fixing the supplier issue would definitely require a complex solution though- I'm sure much of the stuff released by Sunny could be uploaded by others, if not as quickly (they tend not to cost a huge amount, and have no copyright protection, or very simple implementation).

The real supplier problem is that, for whatever reason that the big teams actually disappeared/dissolved for, their absence has made suppliers of warez in other genres or libraries with more complex copyright protection much more wary, since much of that material needs to be skillfully cracked. I'm talking about Albion, Cinebrass 1.5 and Cinebrass Pro, LA Scoring Strings 2, Cinematic Strings 2, Adagio Violins and so on. Some of them (but not all of course) I myself have, but without a proper team around we suppliers could easily find ourselves with the developers knocking on OUR door because our name is embedded in a complex watermark (and no, Kontakt watermarks are not a myth any longer!!). Also, I'm not too interested in the Sunnys of the scene profiting off of my large purchase. no

I can't exactly offer a solution to this problem, just putting it out there because some have been wondering why the last year - year and a half's big orchestral and film music releases haven't been supplied. Frankly, I have no idea how we could go about either getting one of the old teams back or creating a new one with enough respect to have suppliers start delivering to them again.

I know for a fact that I'm not the only supplier that hangs around AudioZ- in fact, I've seen others on the forums that, thanks to this community, began supplying updates to ProjectSam libraries and Symphobia just because of what they'd seen here. I think we'd all like to have the confidence to share again, since we know that the more we upload, the more we'll get to try out in the future.

And for the record, I very much appreciate and respect the teams that are around now, so I hope none of them take offense at us always referring back to ASSiGN, et al- I have just personally not seen much from them yet in the realm of cracking software protection. The one exception maybe being the latest Kontakt 5 updates, since I'm not too clear on who did what there. By all means though, if I'm wrong about that, call me out. I'd love to be wrong, in this situation. wink

Awful filehosts have to pay uploaders money to get traffic to their sites (and to, potentially, get people to pay for membership).

Good filehosts offer good free services, and good free services attract paying customers. That's why good filehosts don't pay much money to uploaders.

That explains just about everything. The point is, if a filehost offered good service, they wouldn't need to pay uploaders to get traffic to the site.

uploaded to is a nightmare here even with a premium account. it is slow and unreliable, sometimes the links do not work or endlessly loop.

Rapidgator FAR superior, as well as extabit.

very surprised to see UL to as the winner so far.

You have to take into consideration that people not only leech audioz, and there's a really big amount of other stuff uploaded to uploaded ;)

Why only aiffiliate file hostings? There are much better file hostings e.g. ZippyShare. And I don't recommend to use rapidgator cause they give your email address to third parties.

none of these mirrors work for me

some like unibytes are banned by the ISPs
and the rest just stops file transfer abruptly after 1-5mb range

i have no explanation why

Letitbit is the only filehost that is somewhat OK for me and Depositfiles is slow but works as well

hi guys,
i use rapidgator and uploaded.to because it's the first 2 i've found where i could subscribe using a paysafecard.

where, some years ago, i had absolutely no problem to pay using paypal, and once, my visa, now, everything became super instable, and a host provider that is great today, may close it's doors tomorrow. that's why i choosed rapidgator and uploaded.to, they had the paysafecard paying option. i don't feel like using my visa data anymore, imagine X hosting website, great site, that closes his doors suddenly, why would they not sell 100 thousands or even million visa accounts, for anyone who would like to buy them, for example, for getting people names, addresses, etc...? a bit scaring.

rapidgator is limited to 15 gb each day, and for uploaded.to , it seems there is no limit on the downloads, until you reach 500 gigas of downloads. then, they will offer you 50 gigas each day, until 800 gigas. once these 800 gigas hit, you can purchase extra 100 gigas trafic, for 5$, and up to 30$, for extra 1000 gigas.

question, guys, excepting uploaded to and rapidgator, do you know other hosting services that accept paysafecard, which is simply a 16 digit pin code, with lile 25, 75 or 125$ credit, you can buy it almost everywhere, at an oil station, etc, really everywhere, and no personal data is required.

thanks for reading.

Seems like everyone's got their own favourite when it comes to download sites. Maybe one solution would be to allow mirrors again but introduce ground rules for doing so.

One key rule that applies here would be that it would be okay to add mirrors so long as they provide download links from different download sites to those provided in the original link.

Another rule might be that its okay to add mirrors if the original links disappear or get removed.

btw, bitshare's free captcha system never works for me - the thing where you enter the captcha - then it gives you a code which you have to copy and paste into the box below - it just says 'incorrect captcha' after that every time.

and also rapidgator always seems to think I'm already downloading a file from them. It says 'You can`t download not more than 1 file at a time in free mode.' even when I'm not.

I suspect that these two sites are using these bugs as a way of getting more people to sign up for premium accounts.

uploaded always seems to be okay. only bad thing about uploaded becoming so universally popular is that it could go the same way filesonic did (i had lifetime membership!)

As a free downloader user, I voted ul.to..no daily limit, no CAPCHA, worked with JD...speed is the same as other holster....
If RS is available, RS is ok too for free user..

As mentioned by other, please mirror to as much as holster as possible...so if one holster down, there are still others

I have a suggestion putlocker and mediafire they are much more reliable and can be used with download managers and they aren't super slow like all of the above.

And if some stingy penny pinchers save $ 10 a month although they leech stuff for countless $$$ so they have to wait yes
3 hours waiting time for all the misers are in my opinion all too short, better the moochers will have to wait 10 hours wow

dont forget there are multi-host downloader sites available, where you pay one fee to be able to access multiple hosts

be sure to google the complaints for each site so you know what you are getting into

I would love uploaded but it is banned in my country due to some government issues. The Second best seems to be Rapidgator . And so I vote for it. Mediafire always welcome. These are my choices.
