it's good for those like me, who don't use VPN most of the time and mainly use it to access resources blocked in your country. it takes about 3 seconds to establish connection through this plugin, while with VPN software you'd have to wait from 5 to 20 seconds, which really bothers me.

they also provide this "CyberSec" feature. this is what they say about it:

I had nord vpn for a year, worked for a couple months, then speeds dropped dramatically. Couldn’t watch any streams without breakups and lags. Terrible speed in the US. Like 1-2 MB per sec max. Would not recommend at any price. Terrible service

not defending any particular service, but i don't understand how you guys can say "speed dropped" when they have over 1000 servers to choose. i just don't believe none of those servers could give you a proper speed

Just relaying my experience, I wanted to like it. Was not reliable regardless of server count. Another thing, they kept my credit card info, and automatically charged me again for another year of service after the first year. I didn’t authorize the purchase and had to complain to customer service to get a refund back. I thought that was a little shady

Been using NordVPN for almost a year now. Not once have I scored under 20Mb/s in a speed test (mostly connecting to US, Canadian, Swedish and Russian servers). I use an Optical 100/100 connection (Sweden), connecting to the internet through my NordVPN installed in my ASUS RT-AC68U router. Netflix complaining over faulty IP/Region is the only problem I've encountered. So ended my account there, I'm a docs person anyway ;-)

Got it! Only one small thing, but I can live with it: when I connect with Nord I get emails from Gmail (and won't fetch emails from inside Outlook) and Netflix warning of possible un-authorised logins to my accounts, so you have to go to those sites and tell them it was you, well, with Netflix you can ignore the email if it was you or you are aware of the login

Been using purevpn for around 6 years now. Last I paid $69 for 5 years which is $1.15/month. Has an app for almost every platform you could think of and tons of features.

Not gonna list every one but my favorite is split-tunneling so you could basically leave it active 24/7 and only certain apps you assign will go thru vpn while eveything else will use your regular connection.

NordVPN has introduced some weird login system where you have to use a web browser to login. Hence it's no longer secure, as the ISP gets a notification of every time you use it. I'm cancelling my NordVPN account.
