The Reflex Limiter is designed to transparently control the peaks in your signal, while remaining light enough on CPU that you can use it multiple times in your project. The device employs a fast-acting look-ahead compressor in series with a clipper. The compressor alone does not necessarily limit peaks, but it reduces workload for the clipper and allows for a cleaner sound. Unlike traditional distortion, destruqtor applies expanding compression before the waveshaper and an opposite compression after the effect, which preserves and emphasises transients and adds more warmth to your sounds without sacrificing dynamic range. Control even and odd harmonics individually. From classic softclipping and warm tube-like saturations to complete destruction of the signal.
