The training is not for beginners (which is good). But it's also none technical training for the pros.
The main value of this masterclass are some details about his workflow and the explanation why the sound design is really important. Actually it's THE KEY of a cool modern production.. together with the groove :)

I was really sceptical about this training and the beginning is pretty lame (imho). But all the practical examples are interesting and i think everybody can find some cool ideas for own production inside :)

Breaks it down in his simplistic way might seem “slow” not “lame” to a seasoned veteran, but
That is the beauty of his grass root sharing. As he goes along you can see and “feel” the depth of his methods.

The power of what he breaks down for all to see is the complete picture of how he creates. Now that’s deep. From beginning to the end. That makes it a master class for all levels.

I for one. Am humbled by his sharing. Paid or not.

P.S. If your looking for a video from him on how to eq or mix forget it. That’s. not what he wants to share. Besides...there are plenty out there!

I think people often confuse these masterclass videos with instructional videos. These are meant to demonstrate his workflow, strategy, experience, methodology, planning, setup, and how he crafts his music from start to finish. These ARE NOT videos that demonstrate precisely how the song or beat is mixed, mastered or what vst's are used, what type of microphones, equipment, etc. This is more of a why/how he does this and not a literal how he does a specific item. Besides, it's not like he will mix and master the song himself. That is delegated to others. He can only demonstrate his thought process and creativity for production and help others organize their thoughts into a constructive musical way that can formulate a song or beat....

Watched! And i pleasantly surprised i'm in love with these guys. some things to put in manifest:
-1) if you like chop vocals this is for you and for me
0) what is inside timbaland is neither studied nor bought. The talent you have or do not have.
1) Timbaland still has the freshness of his youth, but the experience of many years
2) Meet with younger producers without problems shows that he never killed the child he has inside
3) if I had two ghost producers I would finish my songs a lot faster

I pay for masterclass and saw this, must say was disappointed. DIdnt real share anything groundbreaking in the process "I beat box the beat then re-create it". I think the one with Armin Van Buuren was much better covering EDM and he goes over specific plugins, tips and tricks. This was more about "his" creative process, not the technical aspect regarding software/plugins.
