Brian's goal with these licks was to give you a whole heap of fresh and creative new ideas that you can use and implement into your own rock solos to help bust out of those ruts and take your playing to new found heights! We've got plenty of shred-tastic licks to help you build up those rock chops, interesting phrasing ideas such as three against four rhythm groupings and odd melodic accents, as well as a plethora of tasty note choices and solo structure ideas such as rhythm density and using techniques creatively.

On the theory front Brian is using a core format of mostly Minor Pentatonic, Aeolian and Blues scales with a few interesting embellishments such as the chromatic scale. You'll find plenty of pattern based licks, pedal note ideas and wide interval phrases to challenge and develop your rock repertoire.

Technique-wise Brian's crammed a lot in here! We've got: fast alternate picking, legato phrases, tapped ideas, triple picking, slides, octave patterns, string skipping, bending, sweep picked arpeggios and a whole lot more!

As ever, we have included everything you need to practise and perfect the material in this package. There are video and audio tracks for you to watch/listen and study, accurately transcribed TAB/notation for you to analyse and master as well as backing tracks for you to practise every lick to, and jam out your own solos!
