CreativeLIVE Digital Drums with EZDrummer with Eyal Levi TUTORiAL screenshot
TUTORiAL | 2 GB
Whether you use EZDrummer as a writing tool for demos or as a replacement for a human drummer, Toontrack’s plug in is your ticket to self-sufficiency. In his one-day creativeLIVE workshop, Eyal Levi of Audiohammer Studios will show you how to get the most out of the industry-leading digital solution for creating real-sounding drums.

Eyal, a seasoned producer, engineer, and musician, will teach you everything you need to know to get the most out of EZDrummer. From writing and arranging realistic drum parts to how to mix the output in your DAW, Eyal will show you how to be the sole arbiter of your sound — no drummer required. This workshop is taught with Protools — but includes a QuickStart guide so Logic, Cubase, and Ableton users can follow along.

Instructor: Eyal Levi

I'm not a drummer, nor a drum programmer, but i download it this today and i must say that if someone here wants to program real (and i mean real) drum patterns must watch this one ... It has to do with "velocity" and two questions he put after an hour or so just before the section "How a Drummer Plays?": i.e.: How many arms a drummer has? + How many legs? ... I'm pretty sure that most of us forget this things when using virtual instruments - like How many octaves the real instrument really has? or Could a real player play this with the real instrument? (and believe me, really worth to listen his own experience on that later question around 1:15h ) ...

In short, it has to do of course with EZDrummer, but also with most of the unrealistic virtual music we do and listen nowadays, which is said to use virtualized instruments as if they were the real ones when we all know that they are not used this way most of the times (if you don't believe me, try to give a music score of some of that music to a real player and see if he or she can play it with the real instrument).

So, worth download it IMIO and spend 4:23h of your life in it (if you want to become a real virtual drummer/musician, of course! )

kafkagetssum,
This is more production oriented and the other is focused on the software itself.
