lots of goodies in this new one... X3 now integrates melodyne, nomad factory plugins, addictive drums etc....I guess they're on the right track!
Both the eyes are one-sided. For the perfect balance, you need Shiva’s third eye :D

Why include plugins as a 'feature" its more of a liability to me.. just gets in the way if its something I don't like to use.

I friggin rock,
fairly sure you wont have to install them, like all the other plugin options/features that you will not require during installation. They will be feature delimited more than likely anyways.

I guess what is more important, is if the prochannel plugs are going to be DLC again like x2. That was such a jip.

Yes it was the same in earlier version of Sonar when they sort of "force" you to install everything including Guitar Rig.
Well not every plugin was ticked in the list but almost everyone was even DX plugins.

But they didnt "force" you as i and im sure many others just hit the NEXT button during the installations process without looking what was "ticked" in the boxes in the plugin list.

Later on i discovered that you could choose to install just what i wanted just choose detick all and then choose which plugin i wanted.

I am pretty sure you dont have to install anything except Sonar core engine if you only want that one and no effect plugins at all

SONAR X3 demo will be droppin in NOV 2013 and there first release always has bugs but they have included the NORMAD FACTORY BLUE VSTs and more goodies so im guessing this will all be a SN activation but i think this will be over 15GB this time.

i only need the main installation disc dont need the sample or other shit.

4.5GB for minimal install, 20GB recommended

Good-Bye ROLAND Say Hello to Gibson/Onkyo/TEAC/TASCAM

Roland have been cakewalk sold to Gibson Brand Group.

And SONAR or calewalk products seems to be sold under the name of TEAC/TASCAM.

We must not forget Gigasampler by Nemesys, TASCAM purchased it, and was updated while there was few it.
