Maybe i'm mistaken, but my thought is that most of the times (or at least sometimes) suppliers buy the real thing with bank cards which are linked to a real bank account which has a real identity linked to them.

BTW that you have never heard about videos watermarked before doesn't mean that it can be done now (and before).

Well, in my opinion they don't risk anything, otherwise Horsemen never gave you such an answer. IMO things goes like this: someone buys (or "stoles" somehow) a product, he or she supplies that product to a crack team for cracking. If things go well it will see the light, otherwise you'll never know about it even if it has been cracked already. I think that the same that companies try to protect their products, crack teams protect also themselves. After all would you do something that you doesn't see clearly that it will not compromise yourself ?.

BTW, the article you've post is from March 2011 (a little bit old) and bookmarklet (and it's code) has been already removed from the article (despite there's some code in the answer posts). Anyway there are plenty of ways to bypass a digital protection (as Steve Jobs himself said one time) ... But some of this ways are only knowable if you have access to the internet underground, and even then you have to be careful with the info you've got otherwise you run the risk that they crack yourself if you talk too much . Furthermore (and quoting last post in the article you have posted): "how do we know this isn't a honeypot?" (hope you know what is a honeypot).

Anyway, that's only my opinion just based on the things i've read/watched/found during all this years in the net. I know nothing by myself and never belonged to any crackteam.

i dont believe that they buy such expensive software like NI Komplete, East West , Best service or whatever, the earning that is payed from onclickfile hosters arent so big to defray costs

sometimes there are some vst, that has the orginal files with a changed key or registration files, like the TONE2 2013 pack from DOA in last time, but mostly not

i know some IT pros that have said there are many methods to get files and then share them anonym, but i know that they dont talk about it

Why not ?! ... To my knowledge not everybody in the world is poor, and not everybody in the world is so egotistic not to share with others those material goods that he or she have bought spending his or her own money (*). And i think you'll agree with me that neither you not me (not me at least) know what kind of suppliers those teams have. So?!

(*) i had a friend in the past (he's already dead) that used to spend lot of money in original software ... software which he shared with me without asking anything for it, just because we were friends.

However, I must say this guy is not so good, and not very thorough, too. He seems to be more worried about showing off his tools than teaching you something, too. There's quite a bit more to recording vocals properly. I think PureMix tutorials are MUCH more accurate, beneficial, fun to watch, and even creative. I don't watch these to learn how to record stuff, but to get some new creative tips for recording, if there are some. This guy was rather boring. On the other hand, newbies to recording can pick something up from this, some basics at least, like how to set up a mike, and his philosophy on how to relax the singer is not bad, too.

And the singing birdie is really hot. :)
