The term 'Pain,' which refers to melodies for sorrowful songs, has become confusing in this context. It gives the impression that taking a piano course is nothing but a source of frustration and pure pain.

This is why I am concerned about recent publications. The notion that there might be a universal formula for music could lead to similar results across the board, ultimately resulting in legal disputes. Consider the possibilities within an octave. If you are a musician unaware of how to navigate melodic figures and avoid musical harmony pitfalls, your beautiful composition may very well end up branded with the title "Pain." DMCA Pain. Yes pentatonic pitches are very limited. But we all have settled pretty much on most music with 7 notes.. Yet we are still writing music. It enriches a little more by including Rhythm, Harmony, Articulation and Timbre, Tuning and Scales about 66 (or 344 modes) musically distinct 7 notes scales (TTT). Still a bit of room to play around in considering we still haven't exhausted writing in the major scale yet.
