13GB for 2 hours of video??? holy fukk. whats the rez.... 1440000 x 1280000p?
Guess have to knock this sucker down to 1gb with no loss in quality to the eye.

This has been going on for a number of years.... instructional vid file sizes have gotten idiotically unnecessarily huge when a mere fraction in size would still be high quality

I agree 100%!! Absurd and I do the same thing everytime...download and shrink it down by +-90% with Handbrake!
If you have already downloaded it, can tell me (us) if all is included? GP files, PDFs, etc... or is it a rip?

There're no backing tracks, tabs or GP files. 39 mkv files (exercises, solos and lessons) with incrusted tabs on the right side and video on the left side.

Found this out now myself. I can get rid of the five useless audio trackks, as Metaller below has done, and knock the video down to 720 or 1080. Problem is just as you say... they put the tabs right on the screen and its barely legible. You could watch his fingers, but he's in a little box up in the corner of the screen, but that would massively suck anyway. Not having pdf tabs for this is a huge failure..

If their intention making this 4K so you could possibly reaad it off the screen, well , everyone that doesn't have a 4k tv is fuckked then

The MKV files have a lot of duplicate data. They all have 6 audio/tag tracks, while only the first audio track is needed. I could shrink the size of the whole thing by 40% removing the excess tracks. Use MKVToolnix to uncheck audio and tag tracks 1-6 and multiplex again.
