Introduction & Modal Explanation: Al explains what modes are and how they work in this video lesson.

Chord Scales And Qualities: Al takes you through a lot of the chords and their qualities from the modes. This is your chance to get inside the harmony of the modes and how they work with scales.

Chord Scale Visualisation: This will help you to map out everything together; scales and chords living together in perfect harmony. This section of the masterclass comes with 6 separate videos for each of the modes in this package.

Root Connection Study: This lesson and accompanying example videos map out and shows you how to visualise all the root notes connected, as well as filling in the gaps with the important intervals that make up the scales. This is going to an absolutely invaluable lesson which will take your visualisation skills to the next level.

10 Example Phrases: After you've mastered Al's lessons and concepts its time to put it all together with 10 very musical practise phrases. These will use a lot of the concepts mentioned in the videos together and combined with Al's visualisation techniques will help to cross the bridge between concept and application with the musical ideas from this masterclass package. Each practise phrase comes complete with it's own full breakdown video lesson.

Full Modal Masterclass Solo: Lastly is a complete solo (which absolutely rocks!). Al shows you how everything can come together to create a kick-ass real world solo using all the ideas presented in both the lessons and the practise phrases. Al also breaks this full solo down one idea at a time, to explain how he's thinking as he pieces together the material from the lessons.

We've also included a massive 17 backing track files! There are 6 atmospheric modal backing tracks for practising over, 5 shorter backing tracks to fit the 10 example phrases, 5 looped versions of the phrase backings so you can practise and master each section separately, then a full backing track for the final solo which contains all 5 phrase backings into one complete jam track!
