So awesome of you to provide such a valuable service for the forums. Now everyone can read Sound On Sound with their morning coffee and did I mention not even paid subscribers get this? I salute you mercurysoto.

Thank you so much, mercurysoto!

btw. these speakers are really great. I've been studying speaker design among other things and I found out that the best shape for a speaker is actually egg shape or a ball shape... everybody should make them like this but it's rather more complicated.

Well, yes and no. It is definitely true that round corners greatly help with clarity by reducing diffraction, but with an egg shape you lose considerable cabinet room, which results in lesser bass performance. Every speaker design is a compromise. Personally, I'm not a great fan of this design. For the same amount of money (quite a bit...), get a pair of Focals.

My only regret is that I can't vote this post up again.

Wish we had a regular source for SOS these days. I used to buy this every month, but that was when I had an income.

We do. mercurysoto is nice enough to do this for us every month. He already released the January and February issues.
