Regrettably, much of today's film music tends to be excessively loud, favoring overwhelming percussion, often created by the same uninspired composers.

In my view, some of the greatest film soundtracks that serve as exemplary models are John Williams' 'Star Wars' and the Italian masterpiece Ennio Morriconi 'Cinema Paradiso.' These represent truly exceptional music.
