Shot in Pro Tools, but compatible with any DAW, you'll learn basics such as production session setups, recording and aligning external hardware synths & drum machines, nudging audio until it 'grooves', to more advanced topics like mix & arrange tips and techniques, creating tight 'radio sounding' Hip Hop vocals, DIY mastering, file preparation for artists and 3rd party mastering and much more. The Pro Tools session files from the tutorials are also included and there's even 2 bonus videos, one showing you how DrFord made the main sample in the track with his MPC, and the other demonstrating a solution to a common scenario that hip hop producers face.

Yay the 1,000th producing hip-hop tutorial. How about Industrial...can someone at sometime in this century please make a fucking Industrial production video for the love of all that is holy. What's the problem? I just don't get it and at this point it's just pissing me off.

Yea, it's the same with ableton, logic and Fl studio. I have seen so many full songs made with them but none in Studio One and i want to see other peoples workflow with it (Yea i know that's weird) but that's pretty much how i learned Ableton (The only other daw i have learned) maybe make a thread at Audio Sex about the IDM thing get votes and send it to the companys like groove 3 etc?

Nothing weird about it at all, you just want to see how other people make use of it. I even talked to Rick Snoman about it on AudioSex when he dropped by. I made a promise that if he makes this video and esepcially if it's a 2 or 3 DVD that I will buy it as soon as humanly possible and pay good money for it. I don't know if he took me seriously since he's probably thinking that his series is geared towards dance music but perhaps he didn't consider that Industrial dance music does exist and it's better...much much better. Just the fact that nobody has created one in all this time is just stupid. I know it's a niche genre but it's one that should get a fuck of lot more respect than it gets because to me it's one of the best and highly creative.

Yea i just find i learn alot more by watching someone make a song rather then just watching tutorials on how to do certain things in the daw. If no one has made a Industrial production video yet then i reckon when some one does, they will get alot of sales. It must be a hard genre to make if no one has done it? have you thought about contacting Sonic academy about it? if Rick Snoman wont do it then surely they would if their was enough interest.

Yeah that's normal, very useful to see the full construction. I thought it could make some nice dough and I would even push people to buy it. I would talk to all the uploaders and ask them not to upload it either. I want to really support the reemergence of this amazing genre that everyone forgot about yet it helped shape a lot of the grittier genres in existence today. I don't want it to go too mainstream though because then the public will make crap music and leave me hating it myself. screenshot

So what can be done? Do a poll and link it to Sonic etc? write to some magazines? your the charismatic one here so if it gets enough interest with the poll, you write to them and link the poll then you never know, you mite get what you want.

Yeah I might have to get involved in this personally but unfortunately I won't have the time in the foreseeable future. I'm busting my ass this week to get the album finished, then I have another project that needs attention and that's not even including a list of things I want to get done here and on AudioSex (which we also have to relaunch). Then there's my personal life where I have much to take care of as well and that's an understatement. One day...one day.

And thanks for the compliment, I wish my ex could hear that one. Never thought of myself as charismatic, I can go either way. I guess you could say I'm simply a catalyst.

I hope there will one day be a simplified general tutorial on how to get any mix to sound radio ready for any type of song regardless of style!!!

BTW, thank you for the wonderful share PiRAT!! It is certainly very nice and informative to learn how different producers and mix engineers craft their mixes into a signature radio ready sound!!
