This game-changing tool lets you instantly layer the perfect snare hit, kick, tom, etc.—faster and easier than ever before. Larry kicks things off by welcoming you and providing a quick tour of the interface so you'll immediately have your bearings and know where everything is laid out. Then it's on to the Snapback layer, where you can select which sample you want and how to tweak it with the Attack, Decay, Phase, and Width controls. This Snapback layer is used to add extra character to your sounds by layering a "pre-sound" right before your actual drum sound.
Next, you'll explore the Transient layer, where you can select a sample to layer on top of your own drum sound. You'll have access to all the same parameters as found in the Snapback layer, and Larry will show how to make sure you avoid any phase issues when layering the drum sample.
