Now Ableton Live v12.1.5b1 is available this is the latest unofficial version (RC Release Candidate)
It has again many many improvements (and ofcourse works with the vc_runtime solution...)

My fav changes are:
VST2 and VST3 plug-ins now use different icons in the browser !!!! WOW
Selecting a large number of track headers in the Session or Arrangement View is now faster
In Auto Shift, the MPE pitch bend will now use 48 semitones range
Improved filtering of devices and presets
Significantly improved the frame rate when scrolling or zooming in the Arrangement when there are many clips and tracks

...and there are bugfixes (i dunno what has changed but it's better than the released 12.1)

i could swear they had different icons already :D

anyway, who would install different plugin versions? i dont - and using them, i would care if they are vst2 or vst3.

also i think ableton is really doing now convient features, which is great, that they care about it, after adding new features and improve features.

i wouldnt use Betas for really creating any projects or work on existing projects, since it could be the project is corrupt or there is a major bug in it.

I usually install betas for testing new devices or every else besides producing.

i couldn't say better myself, but in one specific case, the 12.1b14 works way better than the actual 12.1 release, like anythings half of time processing literally. so i keep it instead for sure till today with 0 issue.
