It's about attitude. Someone once asked me if I play bass or am I a bass player. Is a double bass a bass guitar? It's about knowing what the role of the instrument is. I've been in many bands working alongside guitar players for most of my life and I can easily tell that my role and theirs are worlds apart.

there's nothing worse than a guitar player trying to play bass, coz the guitar is very difficult.
I've been more than 12 years playing the bass, and still have a lot (lot, lot, lot....) to learn. And Udemy says you gonna go from Zero to Hero in 1 hour. How I wasted my time...
