Looking at the course details, there appears to be appox 10 hours of basic theory and then 1.5 hours of actual using borrowed chords. I just need that last 1.5 hours! Freakin Udemy, lol

Yeah, I'm on top of basic theory; I just need the Borrowed Chords part, as well.

Thanks to uploader for providing - but, as for the course...
With the same curiosity, I always like to check out a possibly interesting theory course.
Seems like a nice guy delivering his course very carefully, and being very nicely considerate towards beginners. BUT... by the time you get to borrowed chords, you're not delivering to beginners anymore and then his snail's pace for delivery is just agonising. He ought to be able to deliver that interesting final session in much shorter time and should have offered it separate from all the very basic theory stuff.

I appreciate the heads up on these tutorials, adheesive. I usually grab courses that go over basic to intermediate stuff, just to get a different perspective on things (sometimes having someone explain something you already know can actually lend to new ideas,) but it feels like overkill to grab 15GBs of video for only a small portion of it.
Thanks to odd-ee-oh-X, of course, for the post, I just can't swing 15GBs.

I have the whole thing for like 2 years now
"Hot to play the piano..go from beginner to intermediate to a pro..."

It's about 40 GB now.

Insane amount of info
I gave up because Novation Launchkey 37 is coming out and you no longer have to know how to play the piano it has a "scale lock" feature so anytime you play some random thing it will sound professional.

I guess you and I have different definitions of the word "professional."

While I do understand borrowing chords, it hasn't become ingrained automatic knowledge, so I'm always looking for referencing material. The bit more convoluted theory gets, unless you're applying it very frequently by composing a lot, tends not to stick, at least for me anyway.

A great book I've been reading is 'The Songwriting Secrets Of The Beatles'. It's somewhat pedantic, so its a tough slog, but a treasure trove about writing chord changes and melody
