This is runtime library required by Acustica Audio plugins.

They are just legit files with few insructions!

-----------------------------------------

!!! CAUTION !!!

Acustica Audio clearly states that they detect warez version in their Aquairus tool.

If you are legit user who wants to dive into the R2R-Acustica-World, uninstall them and sell them.

Otherwise, we don't recommend you to install R2R (and other) release.

No one can avoid the detection because developer can update the algorithm after the release appeared.

-------------------------------------------

OK, let's start the long NFO!

Anyone get this running inside Nuendo 13 under Win1 10? I thought I'd followed the install directions carefully, but when testing Fire The Pump, the plugin would open with a gray screen, then when I clicked on it, Nuendo would completely shut down and computer would run slow. I'd have to reboot.
UPDATE...
I uninstalled everything. Used Kikoext method above, and now it works. After reading negative comments was not expecting it to be worth the trouble, but I tried Salt and Weinberg with very good results.

quote by rob61 the plugin would open with a gray screen,

I had a similar effect on Cantabile Performer 4. I was shown a gray screen with four rectangles on the sides and after a few seconds Cantabile Performer crashed when I loaded a VST3. VST worked perfectly. Today I reinstalled everything and VST3 worked. It seemed a few files in the VST3-Folder where missing...

What Does Acustica Audio Framework Actually Do?

Well, after spending several hours without any results, I found a way to make it work. Initially, it was either blocking the DAW or the GUI wasn't showing up (method working in S1 6.5 W10). The first step is to copy all the DLLs from the 'Framework-Official\Acustica\Framework' folder to 'Windows/system32' (only the DLLs). After that, from the R2R folder, install 'w_dpcpp_cpp_runtime_p_2024.0.0.49848' (I didn't use the folder from there; I'm not sure what it's for). Then, run 'Make_APPDATA_Acustica_Dir' to create a folder named 'Acustica' in 'appdata/roaming'. Next, copy the VST3 files to the 'Vst3' folder in 'common files' and the VST2 files to the 'vst2' folder in 'common files'. Here comes something very important. The folder labeled '!COMMONS' - you should copy its content to 'Commonfiles/vst3' and not the entire folder, only the content. Well, that's how I managed to make it work.

And one more thing, R2R has done an incredible job. I had already tried this 'normal' VST, and it used to kill my CPU. In an amazing way, the CPU hardly moves with this great work they've done. And by the way, I love Acustica Audio, although I know some people are upset for 'x' reasons about the creator, like the 'get a bigger screen' comment. Despite those attitudes that leave much to be desired, I can't ignore that their VSTs are very good

It's correct, the order doesn't seem to matter. In my case, the problem was that I didn't know where to put the COMMONS folder and if I had to put the entire folder or just the contents. But reading various comments here, I started getting an idea, but yes, apparently the order doesn't matter.

Thank you so much as I thought I had followed the original instructions perfectly but still couldn't get it to work !!!
Works perfectly now, massive thanks

What Does Acustica Audio Framework Actually Do?

The truth is, I don't really know what Framework does in AA. If I tell you, I'd be lying. I've had issues in the past with some games that depended on the framework. If I'm not mistaken, I think it has to do with the 'structure

This is what OpenAI says regarding frameworks in audio VSTs:

Can anyone explain to me what framework is?
  Resident 21.05.2013 308

From my understanding, the R2R framework is a stripped down debloated version of only the essential files needed to power the plugins.
I copied that folder to C:program files/acustica/framework and everythings working fine.

Yes, this is the first thing you need to do before installing AA plugins.

I'm confused. I already installed the framework, but there's no !COMMON, or VST3 or anything from the .RAR i downloaded. Only these files:

Framework-Official (folder)
Framework-R2R (folder)
Make_APPDATA_Acustica_Dir.cmd
R2R.nfo
R2R.txt

Where do i download the VST's?
  Resident 27.07.2017 357

That folder belongs to the plugins themselves; it has nothing to do with this. When you download a plugin from AA, for example, 'Amber3,' you'll find four folders there: 'VST3,' 'VST2,' 'AAX,' and '!COMMONS.' The confusion you have from what you're reading here is because it's related to the Framework and how to place the plugin folders. I'm not sure if I explained myself clearly

It doesn't work for me! I tried everything reading all the Comment ! One say like that the other said like that and then nothing goes.

It's a very straightforward process. Once you've created the main acustica directory in appdata and copy the framework folder to program files , you just copy each plugin folder to acustica / common / Vst3 folder.

This information on how R2Rs work and think indicates very high professionalism.
Most of the best multinationals don't have people of this level.
I wonder who is the mind behind all this, compliments people like you help progress in computer science and science, if at least 1% of the population were like that [ ... ]

No one puts a gun to your head to do something, just like the reason we are all here, by our own will. That's the principle. On the other hand, what I read somewhere is that AA said that they would ban users who download "non-legitimate" versions forever. From there, I think R2R is saying, 'Well, you see it, you stick with what we give you, with the risk of being banned, or sell them.' The message is clear. On the other hand, I read somewhere that a user asked on the official AA page if they could redesign the VSTs to shrink the GUI, to which the owner of AA replied, 'Buy larger screens.' I think that leaves a very big dissatisfaction. But well, I'm speculating; I don't know what R2R thinks. I only know that they always help us and often help developers. Although it may seem crazy, having your product decrypted by R2R is a compliment. I discovered more VSTs here than from real companies. Anyway, as I said before, the decision is always yours

It's not uncommon for producers to pay for their plugins and then use the R2R version. Which is exactly what I'll be doing here.

I’ve read the NFO and it says that “if someone knows how to do”, it’s working on macOS too.
Does someone know how to do? Just for info..

Can anyone confirm if this runtime library is for Intel and AMD systems ? "w_dpcpp_cpp_runtime_p_2024.0.0.49848 "

I didn't even install it and everything is working.

I installed it on my AMD system (7950x) and it works alright but wondering if I really needed to install it... Need an expert to weigh in for AMD noobies out here !

No issues here either without the runtime installed.
I'm guessing the system must already be optimized by the more modern Windows 22h2 OS and cpu architechture.

It's funny because I went through the same thing. I have an AMD, but I also installed it just in case. It reminded me of a Simpsons episode when the nuclear plant is about to explode, and Homer says, 'Just push all the buttons until they let you out.' Well, something like that happened to me; I clicked install on everything just to get that blessed AA GUI to show up.
