Dear MacOSX Users:

Since it has been a pain in the ass to get Reaktor fully working (with full Factory library and all Native Instruments ensembles) without having to install Komplete 8/9, I decided to make a guide for you guys... And include the FULL Native Instruments premium ensemble pack as a bonus, since some files were not easy to find!

Things you will NEED:
1. Native Instruments Reaktor v5.5.1 VSTi AU RTAS MAC OSX INTEL-DYNAMICS (Can be downloaded from this site)
2. Native Instruments Reaktor 5 v5.9.2 UNLOCKED MacOSX-R2R (from this post)
3. The freeware Permissions Reset app (get it from macupdate since the official site is slow)
4. The shareware app Pacifist. (Can be purchased - or check your favorite warez sources... even v3.5 is out there... *cough* Appked *cough*)
5. Optional: If you want ALL Native Instruments Reaktor Instruments installed and working get my pack. (MacOSX ONLY)

Instructions:


0. Uninstall all previous versions of Reaktor, delete all traces... Don't forget the Application Support and VST/AU folders.
1. Install Reaktor v5.5.1.
2. Install Pacifist, launch it, register it.
3. Enter the Reaktor v5.9.2 update folder and 'open' the DMG file (or the PKG within it) WITH PACIFIST!
4. In Pacifist, select Contents of Reaktor 5 5.9.2 Installer Mac.pkg, then click the Install button (with the arrow) on the top left corner of the Pacifist window. You might need to authenticate.
5. Once the update is "installed" go into the R2R dir of the v5.9.2 update folder and copy the three cracked files inside one by one to the right directories, replace the originals. (You should know how it's done)
6. Install Permissions Reset. Launch it.
7. Drag & drop the replaced Applications>Native Instruments>Reaktor 5>Reaktor 5.app
in Permissions Reset and click the Reset button.
8. Now you should be able to open the Reaktor 5.app. Do it!
9. You may have the same problem as I did... The factory library not showing up.
To fix it: Click the arrow button next to the search button in Reaktor, open File menu>Preferences, choose Directories. Click the first browse button (for Factory Library), even if the path displayed is correct, then browse to Applications>Native Instruments>Reaktor 5>Library. Hope it works... another workaround is to copy the contents of that folder to Documents>Native Instruments>Reaktor5>Library and have it as a user library.
10. OPTIONAL: Install all Native Instruments commercial ensembles from my pack... First the initial version, then the update. The latest versions require v5.9.2, they don't open in v5.9.0.

PS: Some of them (eg. Monark v1.0.0) and 1-2 others fail to install. You need to reset permissions for those pkg/mpkg files!!! Then it will WORK! No need to "install" with Pacifist.

And now comes the part you've all been waiting for... The pack link!

but i have one more problem i've uninstall all reaktor files and reinstall
Native Instruments Reaktor 5 v5.9.0 - OS X [packet-dada] ( it's different from your suggestion) and i try your instruction step by step it works for reaktor 5 v5.9.2 but i can't find my factory library man :O there is no "Library" Folder in my Applications>Native Instruments>Reaktor 5>Library

what is factory files format? is it .rkplr? or Ens?

would someone help me please T.T damn i'm stupid as f

Just took a look at that BT release you're using. Judging from the small download size. I'd say it's just a repack without the library content. The factory library is stored in Applications>Native Instruments>Reaktor 5>Library indeed... There's .ens, .ism, .rcm, .rcc and .mdl files in it.

Now please follow my guide fully and get Native Instruments Reaktor v5.5.1 VSTi AU RTAS MAC OSX INTEL-DYNAMICS instead. It's the most recent full installer with the factory library out there. Except if you get the Komplete 9 DVDs maybe.

How to install this update???? I try from yesterday and naothing!!! I install 5.5.1 first from dynamics and when I try to update to this one tells me there is no previous installation... wtf????? I am on ML 1.8.5...

My monark doesn't work with this one.... I have monark 1.0.0, 1.1.0 and 1.3.0.... Runs in demo mode..... Everything else works properly

Hi!
I have Reaktor 5.9.0 when I try to install this update it says that "cannot proceed with this update because the application cannot be found in the stored installation directory.

is it because I should install update 5.9.1 first and then update it to 5.9.2?
