Untroubled Mac user here.
I've gone legit with every bit of software that I like and need.

There are only so many ways you can code an EQ or compressor and all these plugins are virtually the same anyway, apart from the added saturation and fancy GUIs.

I've resigned myself to the fact that if you want 'That Sound' you are going to have to invest in a decent DIY hardware preamp EZ1073 for example and a DIY Gyraf SSL Mix Bus Compressor.

My next purchase as it happens.

Mac is great, and I'm on High Sierra. I'm never going to upgrade

Hi, guys... I have to re register the plugins each time I open them. So am I missing something? Ableton 10 - Win 10, here.

First off I want to always thank the hackers for their hard work. I was able to invest in all the software that worked for me. I paid for them. Now on with this Mac not going to be around for professionals.
1.- Same nonsense was going around when Apple switched from PowerPC to Intel?
2.- Apple is moving to the Arm processors because they are more power efficient and can handle way more cores per CPU than AMD and definitely more than Intel.
3.- Microsoft has also entered a partnership for the ARM for their new Surface Pro X which is already out, will release new hardware with those processors, Toshiba, LG and many others will switch.
4.- Amazon had already ordered hundreds of new ARM servers for their data centers. So develops will have to adapt to the changes, just like they did from PowerPc to Intel.
5.- Someone posted a link to a YouTube channel about a guy upset that his 2009 Mac book pro cannot be updated because Apple dropped support for Firewire? Firewire never really made it main stream. That's why very few motherboards ever included as a feature!
He is also upset that his soon to be 11 year old computer is not supported anymore?! But wait? If you by a $60,000 car, you only get a 5 year or 50,000 warranty and nobody ever complains about that?
6.- The biggest problem I have is that people forget that a company is a business. IT'S THERE TO MAKE MONEY. Therefor, you cannot make money if this one customer who purchased a product from you 10 years ago and still wants you to allocate extra time and money to support something that's already outdated????
7.- Would it be fair if I came to a studio that did a mix for me 10 years ago and ask them to remix my song for free because technology has change?
8.- The craziest thing I ever read was the complains because a plugin that is 10 years can no longer run on a new OS????

I am so grateful for this site because I am able to test a lot of software before I buy them! Nothing last for ever, go make some good music.

4) Close Logic X
5) Replace the .bundle files in Application / Black Rooster Audio / Plug-Ins with the cracked ones
6) Do not overwrite the AU-VST-AAX plugs with the patched ones
7) Launch Logic X and authorize the plugs
Done!
Now everything should work properly!

I wanted to add a note about the problems that arose between the R2R team and the new apple system: Catalina....As for me, I don't think I'll upgrade my High Sierra system to the new Apple Catalina os .... maybe I'll try Mojave in a short time but only when I can't update Logic X anymore, not before!
So I agree with all those who say that the reaction of R2R is somewhat exaggerated and that it is not necessary to stop making new releases for Mac. I think I speak on behalf of a good part of Mac users who, like me, wait until their last breath before updating their operating system! So I urge the R2R team to do even more for us that, after the departure of HEXWARS, we have long been orphans of a real team that makes new releases for Mac !!

Hi! I did like that, but in when I replace bundle and open Logic for enter my mail and code and press on plugins - it is just crashed and exit from Logic.

If I do not replace bundle it shows me form for entering mail code and tec

when I replace - plugin just crushes when I press on it

Please help me, how can I install it?

I tried them in Cubase 10 (OSX) and I cannot see the Black Rooster in plugin Manager. It works perfectly in Logic Pro X, Tracktion Waveform 11 and Studio One 5. Everything looks fine in Cubase configuration, no problems with other VST plugins... Any idea on how to fix it for Cubase?
