Bad News to MacOS users :

Due to the change of MacOSX Catalina, this is the last "patched" release for
MacOSX, while we continue releasing REGGED or KEYGEN (without patching) ones.
Soon or later, non signed or non notalized apps stop working in MacOS. That's
Apple's decision.

Go legit or go Windows before it's too late, Mr.Melda says so :P

Good News to Windows users :

By ceasing patched MacOSX release, we can spend more time for Windows :)

NOTE : We reconsider this deal when the situation is changed.

It's a shame that some Windows users rejoice in this news.

Sad...

EDIT: As a Mac user it does not affect me, almost all the software I use is legitimate.
But there are users who cannot afford these applications, due to the high price they have...

I agree and I'm a Windows user. But I have feelings because I'm also a HUMAN and I don't revel in another person's loss. I don't get it. And people wonder WHY the world is shitty. HUMANITY is shitty.

No need to use foul language all the time ...

Sorry. Words are just descriptive vehicles to me. No such thing as a "bad" or "foul" word to me. They ALL have their place to express what we feel. Now people that use them every other word diminish the effect of them in my opinion, but I'm pretty cognizant about not doing that. But I'm willing to stand back and take an honest look at myself. Do you REALLY think that I overuse "provocative" words, Brother?

UPDATE: Nevermind. I just realized that you were responding to Undersky11. My bad!

Windows is garbage too, getting worse and worse;
might rather start developing own "zero-latency" scalable FPGAs controlled by ARM-based lightweight Linux GUI

I wholeheartedly agree. We should have an OS made for multimedia creation. Something like former BeOS now Haiku is, or even better some real-time OS like QNX or ThreadX [wiki "RTOS" "QNX" "ThreadX"]. These are serious OSes, much more serious than what we all use daily. People have no idea how good, efficient, stable, almost latency free, and freaking fast these work. But there is a catch 22 - developers that won't develop for any other platform than Windows, MacOS, and Linux. :(

First step to go Linux is to Learn Bitwig or Reaper. They both are available for Linux and are the most recent ones. We all know Reaper can do anything.
Bitwig, even without any plugin is a very capable DAW because of it's Modular environment and modulators. It is literally a Ableton Live made from scratch with all the mistakes in mind, made during developing Ableton Live. Same Devs.

wrong,
"Mac apps, installer packages, and kernel extensions that are signed with Developer ID must also be notarized by Apple in order to run on macOS Catalina.....This will help give users more confidence that the software they download and run, no matter where they get it from, is not malware by showing a more streamlined Gatekeeper interface."

How to reinstate the Anywhere setting in Gatekeeper
If the thought of having to right or control-click to open apps from unidentified developers seems arduous and tiresome, you can turn back time with Gatekeeper and bring back the ability to open apps from anywhere. All it takes is a bit of coding in Terminal.

Close System Preferences on your Mac.
Open Terminal.
Type the following command:

sudo spctl --master-disable

Hit enter on your keyboard.

Enter your administrator password.
Hit enter on your keyboard.

This would work?))

I’m on macOS Catalina, Only problem with 32 bit apps and they are not working anymore.

I disabled Gatekeeper from Terminal and all 64bit apps & plug-ins work fine.

Also you can use vmware fusion 11.5 instead Wine to run Windows Keygens on Catalina.

Thank You Cashmeeere for your clarification into some very basic terms of logic.

And think of it from the perspective of developers who needs to do internal testing in the development process. The idea of having to send every single build to Apple for notarisation before another employee in the company can try it out, is completely irrational.

So alone in this perspective, of course there will always be a way to switch all security stuff off. And even a fairly easy one!

So it seems obvious that R2R is aiming to focus merely on a single platform. Which by the way is a completely fair and reasonable argument. Much less workload, and Windows users gets more releases.

Hopefully some other group will take on Mac, as it is indeed not impossible at all, and properbly never will be, as stated by Mr. Cashmeeere.

Dear friends, everything will remain the same, more or less software, I would never switch to Windows. I'm glad for Windows users, but this news will not change the operating system, Mac users did not go to this system because it had a drawing of a bitten apple ...

Vienna Ensemble Pro is becoming more and more interesting though - to serve as offloaded Windows plugin container for MacOS DAW

Or use Reaper with ReaMote. Rather cheap solution.

It's been about 3 years that I've switched from 7 to 10 and believe it or not all my new and old softwares (inc about 150 plugins) are working properly and I never looked back

That's good to know as I will soon be FORCED to switch from Win 7 to 10.

I don't care who has the better commercials, or who has the better stickers, or who has the more marketable products(iPod, iPad, iWatch, iMac, iDon'tCare, etc.).

I switched from Mac to PC in 2005 because 1.)warez plugins are more plentiful , 2.) PC's are more customizable, 3.) and PC's are more powerful for the buck. Look in the dictionary for the definition of "no-brainer" and you'll find this example.

Christ, I've been on Windows 10 for YEARS running all the best 'released' plugs from here on a cracked Pro Tools 12.5HD with ZERO problems. I upgraded to 8.1 from 7 also not long after it came out. Sure 7 was COOL and I'd have been fine if they'd stopped there but Win 10 has many positives to it, and besides you just gotta get on it for many other things to work properly now.

SO much bs and paranoia about Windows 10. Get Pro, bypass services/tweak it, image it - DONE.

And you don't break compat with your apps/music software every update like MAC does these days. :/
