Godbless Cat (and you know what I mean..:))... It might be time to shut the whole mother down to other then the trusted and respectable few. I have had a great time here, and have exchanged ideas and thoughts with people from all over the world, and have learnt of new products, and have learned how to use them from the better people here. Friends like you and CL are hard to find, and I can't tell you how much I honestly appreciate your efforts, and his, and the current teams that are revitalizing everything. It is absolutely appreciated, and there are some great great people here, ... but it might be time to shut it off to all but those (and if I get tossed in the process, I understand !).... This is crap, beneath the time you spent to type a response, .. and when I think of teams HEXWARS, R2R, HORiZON, etc reading this dribble, it makes me sad. Because I know the damn hard work they do to bring us representable products to try, and use, and some of these fucks and cretins will ruin it for us all. Have a good night guys (and girls!),.... I just hope someone learns something here or there...

I just reread again this morning everything you wrote Catalyst, and your state of the union address on this is dead on. and "para-sites".. .... You are 100% right. Trust is everything. Word is everything. And internal, and "please respect the uploaders choice", and not running off to shit sites I won't even have the courtesy to mention here is fucking sad. MSJ is one thing, they are a class act, well modded by Chachi, and have non for profit links, and don't allow jagbags to post stuff, exhibiting respect for the wishes requested here and elsewhere and with explicit permissions etc...... but some, hell, most of the others.... I feel for what you guys go through, and I benefit so so much from it. And I appreciate YOUR kind words Catalyst, and if it wasn't for here, I wouldn't have met you, and our burgeoning friendship (that involves a lot more then this stuff and music) etc... Thanks so much for looking out for some of us, you are a better man then most people know here, and I wish there was more respect shown here to everyone. Catalyst, I really feel for your dilemma. It's one of those cases where you are dammed if you do and dammed if you don't. Inevitably, no matter how private you make things, there will be leaks. Even on forums like macrumors for instance, I find myself doing a knee jerk reaction to reply back to some super jerky (or just really stupid) comments and lately I just try to look away because inevitably they try to draw you in to a pointless argument with someone looking for a reaction. It is generally human nature to react and I am trying to learn how not to react . I'm trying to take that approach with aggressive drivers as well. It's hard. I know it's not quite the same as what you have to deal with, but hopefully there is a happy median. In any case we can't take it personally.

I installed and tested this just today, all was well...besides the idiotic programming bugs that Overloud can't seem to fix even after R2R has made mention of them like 30 times already. They're too busy with their heads up their asses to do it the right way.

New guy here. Fairly new anyway. Question regarding an alternative way to block programs from wanting to communicate over the net. In windows 8 we can follow the instructions on this article below to do that. My question, is this method of blocking the internet from the program as effective or do we really need to modify host files and ch mod programs?

Also as a legit sonarx3 producer user I am concerned with my having the lite versions of various programs from Overloud, AAS, Nomad, XLN and Melodyne as part of their program. Am I screwed for using these lite versions to the point I now need to reinstall
sonar and do a custom install so as not to install these lite programs or should I be able to use the full version installs over these programs. I do not mind if that is what I must do, I can save what little work I have done in the program to create menus, templates and customizations.

The thing is by doing that should I use a special program like revo or Iobit and would it even find the correct registry files any better than what I can do manually and are there any recommendations on using a specific program that you would use for this process.

Thanks for all your help in advance. This community seems to be a great place to those of us who are broke and barely able to afford what little software we do have. Hopefully that is about to change for me and I can start to support the developers again and buy all kinds of gear as well. Looking forward to making new friends and learning a lot from all of you.

Welcome to the forums. You would be better off asking these in-depth questions on AudioSex which is our forum. Keep in mind you can't request or link to warez there but you can talk about it to your heart's content. Don't be fooled: it's one of the best places on the net, even if warez isn't allowed. The information found within is priceless and runs the full gamut of questions you will have about practically anything audio related, warez issues and extending into the domain of the human condition. To quickly answer your question about Revo: yes it can find registry entries way way better than you could in your wildest dreams. Try installing and running Kontakt for the first time and then go into the registry and delete all traces. Good luck. Even if you possibly could do it (which is a long shot) it would take you forever whereas Revo can get a lot more a lot lot faster and more efficiently. However the real power in this program is in its trace installs that come in quite handy come uninstall time. Master that feature and how exactly it works and you'll be set. Anyway I didn't fully understand the lite version part of this discussion and I'm the busiest person here besides the administrator so it would be better to join AudioSex where you will have the whole community there to assist.

Couldn't get these to install using mac - mavericks.

Try and open the applications and nothing happened.
Placing the components and vst files in their respective folders resulted in an error when I opened logic.
Have an older version of TH2 running with no issues.
Going to pass on this one as it is probably too late for assistance.

Thanks for these great plugins but unfortunately I can not keep them authorised once I go online. If I have my wifi turn off they keep authorised but as soon as I go online demo mode again

I tried modifying the host file as per the above suggestions but to no avail...LPX mavericks here.

I have some problems with these plugs on Windows 7 64 / Studio One 3.
I can install them.
They do work.
But...
I have to authorize them each time I load them.
It's not a big deal but it's quiet annoying.

Any ideas ?
