Have i got the wrong impression that this one seems to be a particular cumbersome install? Or does anybody here just click install and everything works?

I would like to know because if its "messy" then i rather wait for a possibly better future setup/install.

I would buy it if i could run it , their copy protection makes it impossible for me . I would not even mind a dongle , I have several. The older sonarworks release works great on my system , this one uses much (much!) more CPU on my system .On Win 11 at least 2x , if I double the ASIO buffer x 1,5 . On 10 it will not even run with twice the buffer size . It does have a very useful addition , being able to restrict the range of correction but this should not be the cause of the super high CPU consumption compared to the previous version . I wonder if it has to do with being freed from the crap CP...γ©γ†γ‚‚γ‚γ‚ŠγŒγ¨γ†γ”γ–γ„γΎγ™

This sounds horrible and the reason why I haven’t updated yet. The only thing that is strange is that there are not more complaints, I mean if this is really such a crappy update then we should have tons of people saying the same.

FIXED!!!!

I downloaded the trial
Installed
Loaded all my headphones
Registered with the Keygen like normal using my computer id from log file
Blocked the internet connection in my host file (addresses are in the comment section)
And tada, everything works perfect and im using the newest version!!!

That’s Great. Do you experience it to be a, smooth install? and a problem free functionality? You have probably read all the complaints about cpu taxing , and also an overall very buggy operation.

But they should have fixed that in their latest updates I would assume, hopefully 🀞

I mean I will not touch unless it’s as smooth running as V4, no point in updating to just a lot of trouble

How do I open a profile? I go to open profile and navigate to the Headphone Profile Source V5 folder, but the window appear empty, as if it were looking for another format.

You need to use the keygen to generate a new file with your computer id to create the headphone profile provided in the "Headphone Profile Source V5" folder and it will ask you to load and then save a .swhp file that you can then use. Took me a bit to figure out too
check the R2R.txt under [2] Load Headphone Profile

So I made the mistake of opening up Sonarworks while I was connected to the net and now it is calling home and asking me to sign in to my account. Anyone can help with a fix for this? Is there a fix for this?
