I have windows 64 Ableton, and Ableton crashed on startup everytime after the update. I had to delete the preferences.cfg file in:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Ableton\Live 9.7.5\Preferences
Now it works fine, I used the keygen from: Omnisphere_Software_Update_Win_2_3_2h
I only had to patch, not activate

When you delete the preferences.cfg file you just have do the preferences settings again

I'm using Omnisphere in Ableton on Windows 10 64 Bit. Was working fine before I applied this update. Finally got the 2048 keygen to authorise and patch successfully... but now my copy of Omnisphere is running like a dog! There is a very noticeable lag between a mouse click and any response from the software, and takes longer to load presets in too now. Also takes ages to close the standalone version.

I have the same setup as you and mine don't lag. Here is a screenshot of the updates I have:

Since you're standalone is slow too it's probably a Omnisphere ting. Try a reinstall of the software update and patch it with the keygen from:
Omnisphere_Software_Update_Win_2_3_2h

And you should probably also do this update:
Omnisphere_Patch_Library_Update_2_4_0d.rar

To fix the plugin issue you can try and delete the preferences.cfg file in:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Ableton\Live 9.7.5\Preferences

If you delete this file you have to redo the preferences settings

And do a deep rescan (hold tab while pressing rescan button) of you're plugins

First, maybe a simple reboot of your PC will fix it.

Second, did you check your sound buffer / latency settings?
Maybe you just have to reset them.

Another thing you could try is to browse to the folder
C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Ableton
and delete everything except your config files and the Unlock folder.

[If you delete the Unlock folder, you'll have to fix Ableton one more time (which on the other hand shouldn't be a problem).]

first you need to reset permission in both plugins AU and VST or which one you use.
BatChmod.app or permission reset.app then follow the instructions given in previous post

A tip or two for the novice (like myself) for Windows 7
Install the update
Use keygen (I did it with R2R's 2048) and patch the .dll inside VST file (wherever you have them located) patch also the .dll inside c:\Programdata\spectrasonic\plugins (remember there are two there a 64 and 32)
Open Ableton LIVE or FL or whatever (in my case Ableton Live 7.2.1) and load Omnisphere Copy the "Challenge Code" to the keygen.Generate license and activate.
By doing this the standalone version is also activated.

Currently running Sierra 10.12.6 and Omnisphere_Software_Update_Mac_2_3_2h pkg, Soundsource Library Updater_2_0_1c, and Patches 2.3.0.c, Keyscape 1.1d.
Installed this 2.4.0f update.
Copied new AU Component and VST plugins to my PC.
Tried to run 2048 Keygen patch as before. Failed.

Hello Folks I have gotten this to work, except, I can't get any sound to come out.

Pro Tools 10.3.10 Os x 10.8.5

Do I actually have to install all 8 DVD's, before I will hear anything? Thanks in advance.

I applied all the updates and everything seemed to go well, but when I wanted to use the Omnisphere, I realized that when writing in the patch search engine, everything is translated automatically into Chinese and then the search engine can not find what I write !. Has anyone had any of this ?!

Guys I need help. I've installed Omnisphere 2 and it's latest update. I downloaden Keyscape' libraries but it doesn't show up in Omnisphere, whilst I placed them in the correct (STEAM Folder) location. Can anyone help? I might have messed up my files or something I am willing to redownload Omnisphere and keyscape if necessary.

I would suggest to backup your installation before updating. This means the plugins and the STEAM (ok, it takes a loooong time ;) So you can go back to the old version.
In some cases after the update Omnisphere starts 15 times slower than before. In my case it's 45 seconds compared to three seconds befor (all SSD drives). No change to software or hardware at all. So I reinstalled the older version of the DLLs and the STEAM (150 GB inc. Keyscape)

Something strange happens to me: When I press the refresh button to update the list of patches in the Omisphere library, it crashes (both the standalone and the plug-ins). Does the same thing happen to someone else?

Same issue, Omnisphere crashes every time I click Patches refresh button, I'm on Mac, it crashes in Live, in Bitwig Studio and in Propellerhead Reason. I found no fix for this issue

After a little hassle, only worked PATCHING the .dll file in the Vst's folder

But I have a problem with some patches, I get the leyend:
""Cannot load SoundSource "bla bla bla" because directory "Moog Tribute Library" not found"" I'm up to date with all the updates for Trillian, Stylus RMX, Omnisphere 2 and Keyscape.

Windows 7 (64) + Ableton Live 9.7.5

Any idea what's going on? PLEASE HELP some patches work, some don't

try and delete the zmap.index in this location:
STEAM\Omnisphere\Soundsources\Factory\Moog Tribute Library

Then open Omnisphere and let it reload the libraries

if that does not work try delete zmap.index in this location:
STEAM\Omnisphere\Soundsources\Factory\Core Library
