First time having an issue with a Waves release from R2R..
Basically, waveshell 14.5 doesn't work, or it's corrupted, all types (vst2 vst3 aax).. it wasn't a big deal since i might not need what's in it... until my 12.5 was stuck on launch/scan.. So i tested it and even shell2vst can't process it.. so basically it's not even a proper shell i guess.. the previous release from R2R works just fine.. Anyways, Thanks R2R and funtime..

Update: it's actually crashing ProTools, not allowing it to open.. Yeah, 14.5 might be flushed up.. lol

Update 2: 14.6 is also messed up.. Crashes Patchwork and Ableton.. It contains Spheric Compressor/Limiter.. I can do without any of them I guess but when things crash, I feel the need to let it be known.. Maybe the gods will figure it out..

will not load WaveShell1-VST3 14.5_x64.fst gives an error in FL STUDIO 20. All other containers work.

Reporting some bugs:
Waveshell 14.5 and above doesn't work correctly on FL Studio 20.7 R2R (this plugin caused an error on loading, please make sure it was installed correctly, VST3). But it works through the BC Patchwork, so is probably a DAW thing. I just came back to the last Waves R2R release before this one (that is working 100% on my OS and DAW, and i don't really miss anything on this ver.). I'm going to wait for the next R2R version, for now i'm skipping this one.

Same here in PT and Reaper. It worked for a while after installing but now both Daws are crashing just when they reach 14.5 shells.

this worked for me for a while, but then it seemed to disable my wifi and audio on my m1 Monterey Mac. had to restore from backup, seemed to be an audio driver issue, any fixes for this?

First time using waves so I have a question after reading the r2r.txt:

What would you need SoundGrid for? I'm not sure whether or not I need to install it. I'm planning to use effect plugins like compressors and such and the cr8 sampler.

does anyone know if this is virus free? i check another version v13 from VR and the patcher showed a few viruses on virus total. should i install on a virtual machine

One problem - nx3 and abbey road studio -- the headtracking with inbuilt camera doesn't work.
I had the old V9 bundle before and it worked fine.
Anyone else noticed this?

For anyone having the same problem, I have a workaround (for Win 10/11) :-

- Get Waves.Complete.2016.12.07_OffLine.WiN
- install either Abbey Road or Nx thru waves central
- go to Program Files (x86)/ Waves / Plugins V9 /
- copy the WavesHeadtracker folder somewhere safe

- now remove/uninstall V9 with Waves Central, then uninstall waves central

- now install Waves.Complete.v2023.01.17.Incl.Emulator-R2R

- go to Program Files (x86) / Waves / plugins v14
- open the WavesHeadtracker folder
- copy the contents of your saved V9 WavesHeadtracker folder into the V14 WavesHeadtracker folder, choosing replace, this will replace all the files but one: "R2Clib64.dll" -- leave that where it is.

Internal camera now works, JOB DONE! :)
