iZotope removed VST2 and standalone formats. We feel really sorry for the people who used Standalone for quick mastering!

Official installer copies NKS files or VST2 plugin for nothing. Is that a reason why their installer is 4 times bigger and slower than our ones?

Does this install over Ozone 9 or does it run as a separate plugin entirely? Meaning, will I lose the customs presets I created in V9 if I install V10? Thanks!

It will not interfere with 9, and each will be their own thing separately without harming the other.

%UserProfile%\My Documents\iZotope

In your user account's Documents folder, there is an iZotope folder then the products are inside there. You might have "Ozone 9" or " Ozone Pro" - there is no way of knowing from here. So, install 10, and if your presets are missing, that means they are in "Ozone 9" folder instead. You can copy/paste them to the "Ozone Pro" folder.

If your presets are just working straight away, that means you have "Ozone Pro" folder already.

I - think- this is how it goes. It should prove helpful, I believe. Good luck.

Thanks. I dont need standalone and not bothered whether its vst2 or vst3. actually my other old ozones are in vst2 folder so might be better for this new one to be vst3 separated. curious, is your 2mb installer just something to use after installing this one if wanting vst2?

That's cool! Yes, that's exactly it, how you said. There are all sorts of various software titles that would need it to work. One example off the top of my head: EqualizerAPO, another: Reason. Also Winamp. Many, many others.

This is my first plugin downloaded off this website so sorry if i sound like a noob. But how do I install? The file only consists or ROO and RAR files. No .dll or .exe?

Installed in Studio One 5 and I only see Impact, Maximizer and Stabilizer. I have Ozone 9 installed and had Ozone 9 pro installed. Even tried uninstalling Pro 9 and re-installing 10. still see just these 3. Any ideas?

Actually went in to SO and removed references to all plugins. Did a complete scan for all and now it seems to work. FYI

Yes, in S1 this happens when you select the "scan at startup" function. (Because it takes a long time, and you deactivate it).
Every time you install a new plugin that already exists, you always have to do a full scan, for example, that's what I do with Waves, every new update, you have to scan everything completely.
Another solution is to move the plugins to another folder that is not the same as the one they were in before. S1 is very sensitive to these changes. It seems that somewhere it will keep track of the plugins.

Studio One just checks the 'Date Modified' tag. That's how it knows.

Good tip, I didn't know that. But besides that, it has something else. Because if you have the "scan at startup" option disabled (because you have to wait until you scan everything). When you delete a vst, the program will still show the vst. the only way it will be updated, is if you set "Scan at startup".

But must say this time this is really really confusing the way the plugins APPEAR inside Studio One.
A few have the number 10 and all the other named Pro... what tha f***** I mean was this done on purpose by Izotope or a mistake happen because all the previous versions you'd have lets say : Imager 8 / Vintage Comp 8 etc...

Anyone noticed this?

And the knobs of the Ozone 10 plugins differ when loaded in Reaper versus Studio One.

yep... i noticed that too in Studio One... cant speak about Reaper because i don't use it... the software seems to work normally but I won't rely on it and wait for an update... this one, seems more a leaky release imho...

it's a VST3/AAX release so, it just works inside your DAW of choice...

it works perfectly fine here in Win10 and Ableton 11 VST3.

the Plugin is not the easiest to work with it if you want control over things and make changes, not everything is easy to find and some things I cant find at all. The whole "streaming" or "DJ" selection is weird too. They sound totally different with results. The Ai is decent sometimes and fast, but its gimmicky and I wouldn't trust this on my masters for releasing.
