The Cubase 10.5 Pro from Steinberg will not work unless you pay them for it. There is a version on audioz here that will work with this b15. They are discussing how legit Cubase can work with b15 for instruments.

ok im having trouble with my kaspersky AV detecting the SYNOPSO.EXE as virus

the thing is when i disable AV and run the fake elicencer 15
everything is fine so i opened the AV t exclude the synopso from being scanned
AV mark it as virus and want to restart

is there any work around with step by step solution how to make AV trust the and doesnt get synopso.exe by the balls ? i tried even reinstall the fake and it says
something about synopso being processed by another app (assuming AV holding synopso exe by the balls ) lol

even i added the exe as trust application and as exclusion file
with all 4 ''do not .... ''options box checked ,

any help appreciated

its even written in the fake licencer lol
i was excluding the file itself
and it should be the POS folder (not the exe file)
and i just reinstalled it and my AV didnt react to it

Hi, Once you pause/turn off your AV (windows) you will them have to go to windows security and exclude SYNOPSO.EXE . Even if you have the SYNOPSO.EXE and its folder excluded in you AV software - windows will still pick it up as a virus and delete it, so you also need to exclude it in Windows as well. This is the problem I had with Kaspersky.

If i launch my legit Cubase 10 Pro i see a popup Cubase 10 Pro or Cubase 10 Artist.
Do you have the same?

I got Dorico Pro 3 working fine with b14 and b15, but having trouble with Iconica Opus and Halion Sonic SE3. Halion does not load the Iconica Opus VST files.
Maybe there is a special way needed to get Halion Sonic to do so other than the legit Steinberg way where after registration Halion loads all the files.
I'm also trying to figure out what directory to put the Iconica files in or how I can point Halion Sonic SE3 to where they are.

System is Windows 10 version 1909

Any advice is appreciated.

You can put the Iconica files anywhere. Just click or double click one of them AFTER you have Steinberg Library Manager Installed: https://www.steinberg.net/en/support/content_and_accessories/steinberg_library_manager.html

(If you installed Sequel, you will have to set Windows back to let Library Manager handle .vstsound files by default, instead.)

If you delete the mediabay3.db in %appdata%\Steinberg\HALion Sonic SE_64 then load the program, it will show the Iconica. If you have a problem in the DAW(s) do the same for their folders instead.

halion sonic 3 is not reconized in my daw..... and google is not realy helping...

edit: found it! must be activated as vst3 in the plugin sources menu.

b13, b14 are fine and b15 is the best one but none of those doesn't work for me anymore :(

i had the same lcc2 error but all the products still worked, opened up legit cubase and it worked still too. then re-opened elicenser and all the licenses popped up again. working fine still.

Hi.

With old VR soft elicenser release, I can take the "SeLicenser.sel" file and port to my Mac, open with eLicenser and simply repair and all work flawlessly.

But this new release the eLicenser soft say "Need permission to repair the SeLicenser.sel" and appear all licenses deactivated. Any has try this? any suggestion?

The second try, I have the USB eLicenser, again, with old VR release I can drag the licenses from soft elicenser to USB elicenser, now I can't, click over a license don't make the icon to drag to USB.

Ok. This stopped working for me, meaning I own 10.5 pro. After sometime, out of the blue I received a demo almost expired notification and counter. Once time was up, I couldn't use 10.5 anymore. I uninstalled elicense center. And now the elicense is red, but I can use Cubase again (licenses on my dongle).
It was fun while it lasted, some fine products that made we wonder to buy or not. But I was also surprised how bad some were.

Does anybody know how to completely remove this fake-license? Where is it hidden on your computer?

I've noticed a nice "undocumented" side-effect: with this emulator you can use the good old Hypersonic 2 directly from the original installer, without the dongle-emu
