I don't understand the feeding frenzy everytime there's a new Waves version containing tiny fixes that you could count on one hand. I have a comparatively old V10 that works fine, which I use about 2 plugins. I have better product elsewhere. Are there really so many of you using Waves heavily? Why? Do you like the over designed GUI'S? Maybe you like scrolling through reams of (m) and (s) versions which should by now be applied automatically mono or stereo tracks. And those CLA or Maserati once plug vocal/drums instant fix sound awful.

Every time when I open logic x i need to rescan like 900+ waves units.
Anybody a solution? When scanned it works fine. Just don't want to scan every time.

Don't scan the Waves folder just the folder that has the main WaveShell1-VST 10.0_x64.dll files. Usually default location is c:program files/VstPlugins/

Does anyone know how to get waves plugins to show up in Scheps Omni Channel? It’s only the stock modules that are available as the extra slot.

I can't get this to install. About three quarters through error comes up saying please follow trouble shooter. Tried over and over, followed troubleshooting on Waves site but still no joy.

Any help would be appreciated. I deleted all traces of previous installations.

I suggest installing an old v10 V.R. release and just upgrade everything through Waves Central then just apply patch again after update.

I can confirm. All SD libraries cause install to fail. The rest work fine.

I have version 9.3, can someone please advise if this update is worth it & the main improvements it has compared to V9.3?
After the trouble I had installing and running V9.3 I am thinking of maybe just sticking with V9.3. Also if I were to update would I have to delete V9.3 first? Thanks!

I just received the following error message at installation:

"Sorry - An error has ocurred during installation - installing. Please follow the steps in this troubleshooter - OK"

But after hitting "Ok" nothing happens... What is to be done?

And another question: where should we download the sample libraries?

After all - neither the uninstallation works, maybe due to that error I mentioned above. I was forced to return to a former state using a system backup I had made this morning... :-/

I had the same issue, before installation, move the "waves" folder (of the installer) to your desktop.
this way, when the offline installer is going to ask you to chose a folder to instal from (installers) it should run ok.
I've had the installer on an external HD and the same issue, for which moving the folder to the desktop solved the problem.
it should be ok.
reboot.
patch.
reboot.

I think you've got to download it from Waves website ( or maybe via the installer ) the whole package is 11Go, this one is only the FX plugins ( and lightweight synth like codex, etc.. )

I've come across issues with full install. keeps failing right at the end, and doesn't finish total installation. Any help? Also, is it safe to assume no one uses mega here?
