A strange thing on this version: There is always high input level (not audible)from my YAMAHA UR44 on ch.1 using ASIO, meanwhile CPU usage goes to 34%, it's totally not happening on Live9 with same settings.

I cannot find the instruments ,audio effects,midi effects .Their slots appear totally empty in the GUI....any ideas anyone.

Did anybody manage to get the "included" max for live essentials ? I can't seem to find them even with "all results".

Do I just download this one?

EDIT: Seems like that IS the one. Why Ableton states it's included yet the top download button is greyed out, is a riddle to me.

Opening any Max Audio or MIDI effect (LFO, Envelope...) causes Live to crash!

Hi. I am really keen to try this, but the kegen keeps falling over as my company Av picks up a trojan. Can someone please advise?

The AV warning is a false alarm. The keygen is NOT infected. Almost all AV programs will flag a
keygen automatically.

In Windows Defender you may have to go the History and restore from the quarantine. After that it should work. You can also temporarily disable the AV program while you run the Keygen. Hope this helps.

Question.
the file here for Ableton live 10 suite v10.0.5 is roughly 1.14gb-1.16gb.

but for the try full featured live 10 suite for 30-days on the ableton official website is roughly 1.6gb-1.65gb.

what is the difference here. is this a repack or is something removed/not included from this that is included in the official ableton live 10 suite 30-day free download?

hello,
sorry, I'm trying to authorize the license on my Macbook... I've opened the ''Ableton_KeyGen.exe'' file with ''Wine.App'' converting it to a simple OS X Application bundle with ''WineBottle''. So I opened the Key Generator and entered the Hardware Code and it generated the file ''authorize.auz''. Now the problem: I can't find the file after I saved it...
What am I doing wrong?

Ok topic closed! I've found it.. I had to save the file on my Windows Desktop which I had created with the Wine.app. I'm happy now. Thank you :D

This took me about two hours, uninstalling old version, extracting new package, wouldn't install some of the dll files at the default install location program data, was askin me if I'm sure I have permission, changed install location to program files and it installed fine, big thanks for the share!
If you think it can it probably has been.

Hello,
I'm really new to Ableton Live and I would love to know the steps on how to install this copy.. What to do and what not to do.. Somewhere I read that you must use Ableton without internet connection, others suggest that there is no problem with that.... Please advice me :)

All of the detailed steps and answers to questions about installing on Mac and Windows are in the comments. If you don't find them here in the comments to this version, you will find them in the comments to ver 10.01 or other versions of Live 10. the steps are the same. IMO, it's important to read all of the comments to the versions and follow the steps carefully. It's a bit time consuming but folks here have done a great job in the comments dealing with all of the problems. If you still have problems, then by all means, ask for help. Always a nice gesture to thank them, too!

Thanks for the answer mate.

I have already installed it. II thought it's a complicated process but actually is pretty easy :
1. Simply unpack the contents
2. Mount the ableton_live_suite_10.0.5_64.iso
3. Start the installer
4. When installer finishes, the program starts and it asks you to authorize it.
Click on "No internet on this computer"
5. Copy the hardware number and don't close the program
6. Start the Keygen and write the hardware number in it
7. Keygen will then ask you to save the authorization file. Save it on your desktop (for example) , close the keygen
8. Drag and drop the authorization file in the program
9. Done
10. Block Ableton Live Suite.exe / Web Connector.exe / Ableton Index.exe in your Firewall

no need to patch it, the patched file is provided in the download. what OS are you using? please provide some more detailed info or nobody will be able to help you

and this why i say you need to give more information, your problem isnt that the keygen wont open, your problem is that your anti-virus is deleting the keygen. turn it off and extract the keygen again and then run it. there isnt a virus in the keygen, it's a false positive.
