Now we have 4 users which have some speed/performance problem under Win10.
And for 2 users Ableton 10.0.3 runs fine.
I will give it a go and will try to install it next to my old version 10.0.1

Well, installation was very fast without any problems under Win10 (64bit).
My machine: Dell Optiplex 3050 (Intel i3 3,4 GHz / 16GB RAM and 500GB SSD)
Starttime for v10.0.1 = 14,80 seconds.
Starttime for v10.0.3 = 8,40 seconds.
But when v10.0.3 is open, it start to scan Places (German: Orte) for only 20 seconds.
I don't have any slowdown, low fps or similar problems.
Only if I will try to start the other version a window appears: "installhelper.exe want to make some changes on my machine" [YES] or [No]
I always select [No]. Anyone know what this means?
And how can I stop scanning Places? In my Places is only Core-Library, Punch&Tilt
and Puremagnetic Effect Racks !

I don't think you can turn off the scanning, the lesser you have in the User Library the faster it will scan

Hello guys. I can not open it.
I know that i have to use chmod but i dont know how.
Opened the terminal pasted "sudo chmod 0775" and thats it ?
Any help is welcome.
I also have batchmod but do not know what to click on it.

So after reading i guess its better to wait for an update?

Im on 10.0.1 on mac. Is updating to 10.0.2 a good idea or better stay with 10.0.1?

I read a lot of opinions. 10.0.2 is a lot better in Performance in OSX. I Tested it compared to 10.0.1 and I recognized this as well

not sure what I am doing wrong, but I cannot get it to work on osx el capitan (10.11.6)

- uninstalled previous version
- extracted the downloaded file and moved the to the applications folder
- used Batchmod for permissions
- opening ableton live 10 suite.app doesnt do anything and cant move on to use the hardware code. The application is just not responding.

Any help would be appreciated.

Bad uploads:
WiN relase (from Uploaded) is an OSX app, and OSX install has samples problem from "Ableton Live 10.7z" file (I've check all 3 times, same problems)...
Can you check it and re-upload all please?

Doesn't work for me on El Capitan. Icon bounces up and down permanently. (Permission reset did not fix it)

On OSX Sierra I was able to install and have it launch properly but upon actual use I experienced a lot of hanging. So bad in fact that even trying to force quit would sometimes lock up, Anyone else having this experience or a fix for it? For now I'm going back to 10.0.1 which has been quick and rock solid for me since day one.

Hello everyone !

I have the same problem, the interface works in frame by frame
After a few hours, I finally found a fix :)

The first one (does not work for me):
-A problem with gaming display having a refresh rate higher than 60hz, try to disable the g-sync, v-sync and other "sync" and to put the refresh rate at 60hz

The second (does not work for me, but I preferred to leave it):
-Create an Options.txt file, include the following command in: _ForceGdiBackend and save it in the following path: C: \ Users \ Username \ AppData \ Roaming \ Ableton \ Live 10.0.3 \ Preferences
-For mac user the path is : /Users/username/Library/Preferences/Ableton/Live 10.0.3/

The third (which works here):
-In Preferences disable the HiDPI mode and put the zoom display below 100%, for example 96 or less, restart Ableton live.

And tadam, no more lags or freeze here !

I can't Unrar the files. I tryed with UnrarX, RAR Expander and Stuffit Expander.
it says "The file - (name of the file) - is not a RAR archive"

Am I doing something wrong ? DLd it from uploaded, 7z error "cannot extract... file is demaged", DLd from rapidgator, same story. Im using UNARCHIVER and MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6 (https://imgur.com/a/dztxgc7). I tried different programs to extract it but always it stops on this .../Chords&Stabs/Clav Chord CMaj.wav :( Please help.

My 10.0.2 version wont work either. It keeps asking me for the same authorization...

EDIT: I used "decompressor" and program gives me error "wrong checksum". I did sudo chmod 0775 on the 7z file, but it didnt help.

The Keygen keeps dissapearing every time I try to install. First it says something like "This is a virus or unwanted software" and then it vanishes. I have my virus protection and firewall off though. Has any one else had this issue? Any suggestions?
