Melodyne is a software application for OS X or Windows with which you can edit audio in a more musical way than was ever thought possible. try this procedure, it worked for me with previous 4.0.2 release...

Codesign: On your Mac open the terminal and type:

sudo codesign -f -s - /Library/Application\ Support/Celemony/Bundles/MelodyneCoreCocoa-4.0.2.003.sbb

Then you are asked for your password. Type it in and hit return.

For the other file:

sudo codesign -f -s - /Library/Application\ Support/Celemony/Bundles/MelodyneCoreCarbon-4.0.2.003.sbb

You also have to do this with the plug ins.

Now try this: sudo codesign -f -s - (leave a space after the "-" )

and then after this command simply drag and drop the Melodyne.component
It will look similar to the above. Now hit enter again. Maybe you are prompted for your password again before.


now after you're done codesign tasks, use Permission Reset app with "apply to contents" option enabled on all the Melodyne related files above

I could not validate the au with LogicX. after doing the terminal commands and the permissions resets, everything worked.

YESS!!! You sir are a champion!! I'm not the best with computers and I'd been having trouble with this download for awhile now. I sometimes find the lack of information on more complicated cracks frustrating, but i figure I must be a noob. Anyways thank you so much! This totally worked I just changed the 4.0.2. version number you had to the current one and sudo codesigned and permissionreset the shit out of anything with the name melodyne or celemony. Thanks so much for helping me with this! Great advice.

For anyone having trouble installing or running the standalone app:

1. Download a small program called "EasyFind". It's free.

2. Search your entire hard drive for anything containing the word Melodyne. DELETE ALL THESE FILES! Some files you will be able to delete right from the EasyFind app, others you have to go to the containing folder and delete from there. It will ask for you password.

3. Do the same for the word Celemony. DELETE ALL THESE FILES!

4. Download the trial version. Install.

5. Download this version from AudioZ and replace the necessary files.

6. Download "Permissions Reset" (Free) and drag the Melodyne app into its window. Hit "Reset".

After this you should be good to go.

In Standalone is perfect but as plugin I've a problem with logic and Pro Tools 11/12...
"Melodyne 4.0.4 (b 001) has encountered a problem that prevents it from loading properly.
Please contact Celemony Software GmbH for further assistance."
Anyone know the solution?

In Windows 10 with Ableton Live doesn't appear as an VST plugin... any help on installing melodyne in windows please? i'm quite desperate. This are the steps I followed:

- installed demo downloaded from celemony site
- installed R2R release

I've installed it and works good.
I've a pretty annoying audio delay (audio sounding always behind the scroll bar) which I used to have in previous versions of Melodyne. Before I thought the reason was that I didn't have a strong machine, but now I running: Win10 64bit - Intel Core i7 4790 CPU - 8GB RAM which I think should be good enough.
Can I do something to avoid that delay?
(Don't say buy a new computer!)

did you get it to work as a vst plugin? it works OK for me in standalone, but when trying to use it as a plugin in sound forge or ableton live, it asks me to activate it.... :(

Standalone and .dpm working with Pro Tools 10.3.
For standalone, I used Batchmod and chose everything but "Clear xattrs" and it worked.

i hate to be that guy but i cant seem to get AAX working on Pro Tools 11HD. I copied and pasted everything like im suppose to but it still does not show up and when i try to open the Standalone app it says cant be open.
