Melodyne is a software application for OS X or Windows with which you can edit audio in a more musical way than was ever thought possible. In Melodyne, you work with notes – and not with a meaningless wave form. You don’t just see where the music gets louder or quieter but also where notes begin and end and at what pitch they lie.

Didn't work for me. I get this message when opening Standalone App and VST3, so far:

"Installation Error

Melodyne 4.0.4 (b 001) has encountered a problem that prevents it from loading properly.

Please contact Celemony Software GmbH for further assistance."

Reverted back to previous release and have no issues.

Did you install demo then replaced the cracked plugins? if so not enough you need also replaced MelodyneCoreCarbon-4.0.4.001.sbb, MelodyneCoreCocoa-4.0.4.001.sbb and MelodyneReWireDevice.bundle from library folder

again, I haven't even tried install yet, but psyko67, you are saying we need to install demo first before beloved R2R's K and patch? just for clarification, .... i looked at download, and saw files to drag etc, didn't read in .nfo about installing demo... so i'm an idiot, just want some clarification ! :)

All I did to install this latest release was copy and paste over plugins and standalone app.

I get that error message in windows too... any idea on how can i solve it? I installed demo downloaded from Celemony's website, then installed the R2R, and overwrite the content from the folders R2R patch creates the demo's folder.

Thanx a lot for this essential release! It works fine in S1 V3.2. running 10.9.5 no lags or hitches.
The only thing i dont get to work is the standalone app.
I tried it both ways. Installing the k's directly and installing the demo first and then k's later, either way the plug do work, but the standalone app does not even appear in the activitymonitor when launched.
Any tips on how i might get the standalone app to work as well? Maybe some codedesign trick?

Just to state again what I put in a few comments earlier. VST (for OSX anyway) is ONLY 32-bit. You have to use J-Bridge to make it 64-bit compatible, or use the VST3 version as that is no doubt 64-bit. It is kinda weird Celemony only made a 32-bit VST, but that is reality I suppose.

Am I using batchmod incorrectly? What do you click in batchmod exactly?

So I unzipped again, didn't use batchmod and when I double click the application, you see a quick flash on the application icon but nothing happens. It doesn't open.

I had the previous release 2.1.2 working (which was 64 bit) with no issues..

I clicked the unlock, plus the apply on contained Folders and subfolders box. That should do it.

Another option is to just use the Permission Reset app (it's free). It is a little more straightforward than BatchMod, at least for someone that is new to resetting permission's on OSX. If you use Permission Reset application, all you need to do is load the Melodyne.app into the window, and then click "RESET" and once that is done...boom, you should be all set :) Good Luck!!! Alternatively, BatchMod will work as well - just a few more options than Permission Reset.

No matter how I try, I still get the installation error.

1. I've downloaded the demo and installed that.
2. I copied all the cracked files to the right folders.
3. I used both Permissionreset and BatchMod on the Melodyne.app but still the same error.

What now?

In Windows 10 with Ableton Live doesn't appear as an VST plugin either... any help on installing melodyne in windows please? i'm quite desperate. This are the steps I followed:

- installed demo downloaded from celemony site
- installed R2R release

please help :(

at the very least tafelrunde, I would recommend blocking your DAW with little snitch or handsoff and from your mac's firewall.... I also would recommend ALWAYS staying off the internet when using these!

If anyone wants to get this working integrated into S1 just install the demo then replace with these files and then it will just load up in S1 as part of the edit field rather than having to use the separate plugin

I tried with and without installing the demo first. I tried Batchmod and Permission Reset. I'm on a 5k iMac OS10.11.3. Any solution? The demo did launch properly before replacing the files.
