Slate Digital VMR Complete Bundle v1.1.0.4 WIN VST-AudioUTOPiA screenshot
Team AudioUTOPiA | 19 Dec 2015 | 367.3MB
Virtual Mix Rack includes four world class mix modules, including two classic equalizers and two versatile mix compressors, with more modules to be developed.

The 'VMR' operates as a Virtual 500 series rack with hot-swappable modules, putting your whole processing chain in ONE WINDOW. This allows you customize your own channel strip, with signal flow following the modules, in any order you choose. Mix and match filters from different EQs. Chain an EQ before or after your compressor. Moving modules around is easy, fast, and creates no break in audio playback. Audition signal chains faster, easier, and in real time with the Slate 'VMR'.

The FG-N is a digital recreation of one of the most classic discrete Class A British equalizers from the 70's. All aspects of the circuit are modeled, including the rich harmonics and saturations that naturally occur when the equalizer is in use. The original model only contained one mid band, so we thought it would be nice to double it so that it has two mid bands. This equalizer is lush, fat, and bold. It sounds great on everything from drums to vocals, and can even add the perfect saturation to synth and electronic tracks.

The FG-S is a digital recreation of one of the most famous British console equalizers from the 80's. This equalizer also has rich harmonics and interactive mid bands with a fat musical tone. This is the ultimate workhorse mix eq that can be used on any track. It is great for surgical cutting strokes, or wide bell and shelf strokes for making drums and guitars punch out of the speakers.

The FG-116 is the most precise digital replication of the classic American FET limiter. No expense was spared to capture every nuance of this classic sounding compressor/limiter. From its trademark timing characteristics to the extremely musical sound of its transformer, the FG-116 will give engineers the musical and fat tone that has made the hardware so famous. The FG-116 sounds great on everything like lead vocals, drums, and bass guitars.

The FG-401 started as a recreation of the classic british console channel compressor, but morphed into quite a lot more. First, we gave it variable attack and release with increased range which added more tonal options. But then, we added an optimal transformer inout, and not just any transformer, the famous transformer from the British Class A Console! This adds a beautiful warmth and sheen to the compressor. Last, we added an entirely unique second circuit path that provides and additional smooth and rich tone. The FG-401 is perhaps the most versatile mix compressor in the world that can sound good on any source you feed into it.

Unlike so many 'analog modeled' equalizer plugins and compressors that simply recreate analog equalization and compression curves, the VMR models every nuance of the circuit paths and recreates all of the essential harmonics, saturations, phase, and interactivity that give the units their trademark tone.

The VMR plugin is also modular, and new processors will be added in the future which will further enhance its powerful functionality.

YES, thanks... I actually found the solution somewhere else but thanks for clearing it up. By the way, but deleting the .xml file, everything is working, even wrapping to AAX is working great...thanks again!!!

UPDATE: Loads fine but no audio passes through plugin!

After wrapping my VMR, there is no input signal when opened in PT 12 at all, but in other DAW's like FL Studio and Studio One, it works properly as a VST. One of the users had the same problem as me but fixed it using Blue Cat Audio Patchwork... i'll try that, but is there absolutely no way i can get it to work with TransVst? Because the other plugins (Softube, VTM, VBC) all work properly, so why doesnt this work?

Yes...I thought all was well when VMR (Wrapped AAX) loaded fine into PT12 and seemed stable. No audio passes through...working fine in Bluecat Patchwork.

Don't know quite what you mean by that, what account are you referring to ?

My pc user account, if you look at the folders properties there is Administration and Everyone, although this includes your user account it does not work, so I added mine and it worked like a charm.

Ok cool, that's what I figured. Did you get the wrapped AAX to work (including audio passing through the plugin) or are you talking about the VST?

Thanks for the reply!

To view ProgramData in your C drive . Please turn on "Show hidden files, folders and drives" in Control Panel / Folder Option. And then file the C:\ProgramData\Slate Digital\Virtual Mix Rack\Settings.xml . Delete it. N it works for me now !!!

This makes my virus checker ping. I often get that with keygens, but once installed I can usually turn my virus checker back on. With this my virus checker removes the plugins when I turn it back on. I'm not convinced this is safe.....

Glad things are working in VST land...working for me too. I was thinking about switching back to Pro Tools but many of our new goodies are VST only, unless we use the wrapper or Bluecat's Patchwork...both can be problematic. I'll probably stay with with S1 unless some AAX versions surface here.

I'm so grateful and excited to try this release but I can't get it to show up in Reaper or Cubase 5 on my 32 bit xp rig. All the Slate plugs were installed successfully and my OS is listed in the PC minimum requirements... But when Cubase scans the plugins folder I get this message:
"The procedure entry point InitializeCriticalSectionEx could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL 32.dll.:

Any pointers?

not working for me :( I cant even get FXpansion to convert the .dll files.. it comes up with a message saying " The procedure entry point InitializeCriticalSectionEx could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll " whatever that means :/ anyone know about this error or knows what to do ?

For those of you getting the error" The procedure entry point InitializeCriticalSectionEx could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll ", make sure you have Windows XP fully updated with SP3. I strongly suggest at least moving to Windows 7 64 bit as this will solve a lot of problems.

As for converting the .dll files with the wrapper, don't waste your time for VMR as you will not be able to pass audio through them

just a miniscule correction: audio passes through wrapped dll, but it's not processed...

perfect tool for the times when you need to let producer/musicians fiddle with some knobs without destroying your mix...

I am running SP3 but it's starting to look like I will have to upgrade to win 7....
I can't get any of the new Slate or U-He goodies to run on my beloved XP rig...

yea because I have windows xp version 2002 sp3 32bit... maybe I should go to 64 bit :/ something I really don't want to do as there are sooo many plugins that are 32bit only from the past past that are no longer being released nor are being updated but are legend plugins..
  Resident 28.05.2011 1 400

You can still run 32 bit applications on a 64 bit system. You can even use a 64 bit DAW and 32 bit plugins by using Jbridge. Don't know what DAW you use but some have an internal bridge. Lots of options. I understand maybe not jumping to Windows 10 yet but Win 7 64 bit is the way to go...you will have far less problems.

Contains TR/Patched.Gen virus. Can someone confirm if this safe?

Use Zone Alarm free antivirus and firewall, and you will not have false positive.
it is safe.
