the ArtsAcoustic Reverb is a high quality reverb for everyday use in a professional studio. this plugin is (unlike the current trend) a highly advanced, but easy to use algorithmic reverb, so no convolution is involved.

why no convolution?
several issues made us believe that there is a need for algorithmic reverbs, such as having full control not only over a few, but all important parameters which are needed to design a room to perfect results.

so what was the aim?
next to the sound of a good reverb, wich was our highest priority of course, it is mostly very important to edit the room/reverb to suit into the given situation. even the smoothest reverb tail is not much of use if it doesn´t fit into the mix. every master has different requests, so the reverb has to give the user the possibility to always do a certain function in the mix.based on our experience this is not too often the case with reverb units whether it´s hard- or software, unless you want to spend a lot of money - of course exceptions tighten the rule.

I wish they would have made a better GUI but it's secondary…

Hey guys, im having a hard time patching the .dll file, its says: (File is write protected). Can someone tell me how to patch it.

Also for some strange reason i cant copy the registration code the clipboard.

I will appreciate some help here...

Maybe the dll is for some reason really read-only? Right mouse button on it > properties > and check it out, but I'm rather inclined to believe that you have to run the patcher with "run as administrator". That should do it.

As for the registration... how about using the "manual" method? [writing it with a keyboard] However, sometimes you cannot copy/paste with the mouse in Windows for some buggy reason. Try selecting it with the mouse, but keyboard shortcuts work. Press ctrl+c and then ctrl+v to paste it.

This is definitely one of the better reverbs, in general.

Thanks bro, apparently the issue was that i loaded ArtsAcoustics in the DAW before the patching. Just did a quick uninstall and tried the patch. Success!

I have ArtsAcoustic Reverb legit and have been using it for ages, it's my go to reverb especially for orchestral work. It goes without saying but I strongly recommend supporting ArtsAcoustic and buying it legit. You won't be disappointed.

hi! i have OSX 10.6.8...installed successfully ... i see the plug in in my daw without pach...but when i replace the file vst and au ... ableton and logic don't see the plug in!
some idea? many thanks! :)

Ok folks , found solution for plug not showing in Logic X !
-u must first load the instrument and after that open the reverb
-For audio track , load an Stereo track .The plugin requires a stereo track .

So long as it doesn't crash my DAW (upon reopening or trying to reclose the GUI) in OSX 10.6.8 like the infamous previous version available (v1.1? 1.2?) did!

(Addendum: AU seems to be working flawlessly here after following the instructions and installing -- so far! -- in OSX 10.6.8 and the last version of Wave Editor. Not anticipating any problems with DP 7.24, either!)

(Addendum #2: AU version loaded just fine into DP 7.24, no crashes or freezes, works like a charm! Can't vouch for the VST version, since I don't use it. However, it should be noted that, even though I didn't need it, I installed it and replaced with the patch per R2R's instructions. There's a few Mac plugs out there that act weird after a custom install where the VST is prevented from installing. Also a few of the users having problems might be doing a regular install, but only replacing the AU version with the patch. This may be causing some of those problems!)

So far, I like the plug! I didn't get to really use it in its earlier incarnation, so this was the first time I was really able to listen to it in the context of a mix. My only problem with it is the same problem I have with NI's RC24 and RC48 reverbs: waaaaaay too bright. I know digital = bright, but they go so overboard with it that it almost makes me wince. I guess you could fix it by rolling off some of the top end (which most of you will do anyway!), but i'm still looking for a basic catch-all hall reverb that doesn't require massive tweaking. I do actually like the "input-defined" presets that are tuned for specific instruments. For those of you who use reverb plugs as inserts instead of auxiliary sends, this is probably a goldmine.

You're using the unpatched plug-ins. Replace with patched, then give it the serial.
And please, don't use 1week old OS X version for audio work.

Did anyone had the problem with licence.I cant figure out how to copy the hey from clipboard.Never done this before.I've been searching on google but I can't find the solution.Please, anyone.

Did you read the thread because I believe someone posted the solution. Make sure that you enter information in lowercase except the license of course.

I'm having a hard time with this.

Opened up the patched 7z file in zipeg, I see both the vst and au files in there, but when I extract, i get a warning saying "unsupported method of compression....". It creates a folder on my desktop, but there are no vst or au files in there, just empty folders.

Windows = use WinRAR 5.11, Mac = use Keka. Try using the one appropriate for your platform and let me know if you still have the problem.
