Scope is a modular sound generator and effects processing plugin geared toward experimental sound design and electronic music production. Scope’s open-ended graphical patching system and diverse set of modules give you access to a new customizable processing environment capable of a very broad range of effects.

Scope’s tactile workflow and vast sonic potential will inspire you to push the envelope, while its flexible architecture invites you to try imaginative new routing scenarios to explore endless possibilities. Use it to generate vivid electronic tones and textures or to process your drum loops, soft synths, sound effects and external hardware.

At the heart of Scope, you will find a selection of modules you can freely configure by populating up to 8 slots. Once populated with a module, a slot will give you access to up to 4 input and output nodes, which you can freely connect via Scope’s virtual patch cables. Inputs and Outputs are configured to have the ability to send and receive multiple signals at once, making very complex modulation scenarios possible. Scope ships with 26 modules ranging from effects to utility, with additional modules already planned for future updates.

Scope’s unique workflow and interface will change the way you think about modulation and signal processing. The plugin makes it possible to set up completely self generating patches, making it equally capable as a sound generator and effects processor. Our designers have included a variety of external and internally generated effects patches to show what the plugin is capable of. To get you started, we’ve included 160 patches by Subjex, Balkansky, Thomas Hennebert, Apparition, Daed, John Black, Shiro Fujioka and Blush Response.

Glitchmachines Scope WiN/MAC-DISCOVER screenshot
Embracing all things modular, Scope includes a Eurorack modular synthesizer sample library comprised of over 1500 samples. We worked with 6 of the best module manufacturers to put together the Eurorack system used to generate all the content. Our goal was to create a functional counterpart to Scope; something you can’t easily achieve with a computer that interacts well with the plugin and gives you a new palette of sounds to work with right out of the box. Focused on the darker side of modular synthesis, sound designer Ivo Ivanov created a collection of compelling effects that are equally distinctive and indicative of the depth of Eurorack’s prodigious sonic landscape.

Crafted with a combination of analogue and digital modules, Scope’s library is packed with gritty and intricate synthesizer sounds in the form of hits, stabs, glitches, one shots and asymmetrical passages you can use to create your own rhythms, basslines, percussive elements and much more. To give you a true sense of the modular sound, the library features raw samples with no further processing. Import the sound effects into your favorite DAW or sampler and process, stretch, bend and twist them into something truly unique. To show you how the samples can be integrated into your projects, we’ve included loops by sound designers Ivo Ivanov, Thomas Hennebert, Apparition and Daed.

To be honest at first i was like wtf but then it started to build and i started to like it more So are their any other IDM artist you could recommend ?.

"it's more deep than the standard boring, tired, cliche and derivative dance fare. " pretty bold statement

I'm all about the bold. It's not Deadmau5 or Skrillex they're talking about when they say:
He has been described by The Guardian as "the most inventive and influential figure in contemporary electronic music".

Take my word for it man, I've been listening to a lot of diverse music for a very long time, i could finish this conversation and go talk to DAW about French singers, come back and have an Industrial conversation, grab a snack and drop some nice techno tunes, switch over for a synthpop, house, electro convo and then move over to jazz and rap with ease. IDM has a lot to offer for those that give it a chance, for some it's not their style and I can understand but you have to really give it a chance and also listen to many different artists because the difference can be quite staggering. There are times that even I don't like a track and then on a few more listens I realize that it's fucking brilliant. I don't really want to sidetrack the thread with music but I will give you a few things to check out right now and you will get to explore some of my favorite stuff at a later date (you'll know when). I also run the Transmissions series on AudioSex so if you want to check out some cool music swing on by, I've actually have been meaning to add some more stuff and fix the vids that went down (thanks YouTube). I was even having a hard time finding some tracks for you on YouTube of what I wanted but for right now check out:
screenshot (No I'm not giving you the finger, it's Famine)

Famine - Material Things
Out of Toronto.

 screenshot
Fractional - Blood
Out of Belgium.

Finish off on the softer side of IDM:

Lombre - In From The Rain from their stellar Letting Go At The Steering Wheel album. That's L'ombre by the way but we have an apostrophe parsing bug in the link component.

It takes some time to acclimate to the genre but when you do there is a deep sense of beauty in it and it can get pretty aggressive at the same time, the perfect marriage.

Woah, never heard about l'ombre, thanks Cat
Cool that article on http://bytenoise.co.uk
Another legend imho:
check this:
Venetian Snares - Hajnal
Venetian Snares - Szamár Madár
I choose two pretty soft tracks, as he do lot of breakcore
that is not for the faint of heart,
and I can imagine the comments if I would post one of his hard works:
btw I will post a thing so you can get an idea of the man's character:
Interview with V-Snares

Gosh found a man that's more wasted than me

Now I really wanna know if someone can say this man (btw AFX aswell)
has no knowledge in "orthodox" music theory…
Like said in that article the awareness of musical theory
doesn't imply that one talented musician can't subvert it
in it's own way…
Even more, the knowledge of musical theory
gives you even more freedom to overthrow it,
as well said in that article...

Aphex Twin interview @ MTV 1996

Gonna jump on the boat at audiosex, I always says I have to register
but I never did due to lack of free time,
I was just passively lurking from time to time…
Right now I have tons of spare time, so I will finally register there too,
better place to dig into this kind of musical taste wars

Just kidding, exchange of opinions, even if rough, is the heart of communication.
See ya there

Yeah no problem mate, L'ombre is really good stuff and he's also out of Canada by the way. Fucking Canadians, always revolutionizing music. That whole album is good and I love the name Letting Go At The Steering Wheel which is what some musicians really need to do. Venetian Snares are awesome, love Aaron's stuff. You're right on the money, music theory is just that...theory and it can become a cage if you let it. For example all of Industrial music as well as a lot of hard styles and jazz WOULD NOT EXIST IF ARTISTS DIDN'T BREAK THE RULES OF MUSICAL THEORY!!! I always say that I study music theory to know the rules so I can effectively break them. And I won't even get into how many artists have no need for theory because they have an innate understanding of it, we all do to some degree because we've been listening to music since we were born. I think it's time to take the elitist attitudes and snobbery out of music and leave ourselves unfettered for further sonic exploration and experimentation. Everything has it's time and place and IF PEOPLE ONLY MADE BEATLES MUSIC, MUSIC WOULD SUCK!!! I don't give a shit what anyone says Aphex Twin is timeless music, just like Beatles are considered timeless music. I've listened to it decades apart and it still was able to weave it's magic for me.

Come on by, in the next few weeks AudioSex is going to be busy and believe me there will be a lot of traffic coming through there plus we're launching the album soon. It's a good time to join too because soon we will begin to reimagine it and update everything: the engine, GUI, features, community elements, etc. It's going to be amazing! screenshot screenshot screenshot screenshot screenshot screenshot screenshot
Here's a good L'ombre remix for the journey, I got a chance to listen to it when there was really heavy snow falling in the area I was. It was so quiet and beautiful, a moment outside of time: Diffuzion - Winter Cities (Lombre Remix)

Oh and by the way.. the UI on this is very cheap looking, and the fonts, way too small.

pity, as its promising and interesting software.

Sorry if I always comment on bad UI's but I design them for a living so I always feel the need to point out to devs how bad their UI's are.

Has gotten me more than one Job in the past.

Hey catalyst thanks a lot for showing me audiosex website, just made a membership their. Love the atmosphere and it's fun to get to join a forum as it's growing. I feel like all these sites that i'm also with, gearslutz, future producers, clublandlv have been established for so long, that they somewhat have some "snobbier" guys their. And their only reason being "I been here longer"

Still go their daily to learn, but man do a lot of conversations get so off tracked just because "oh that's not real music"

It's like bro, I'm just trying to learn, are you going to answer the question OP asked or not? lol

No problem Fanelli, come on down. I try to keep that kind of bullshit off the forums because everyone has a right to pursue what they want and it's not our place to judge. They way I look at it is if someone doesn't have something to add to the thread then why even bother posting "oh that's not real music"? I hope to keep it that way for as long as that forum is open.

Did somebody mention my name a few days ago??!!

Only just seen the ranting going on... I won't friggin' get into battling it out with any friggin' one (pun intended), but needless to say, there's a very good reason why I chose this avatar.

To appreciate the very foundation of electronic music, you have to respect Aphex Twin. He was creating music as a child that could move people, in a way we all dream of. Sure it's not always music for the masses, that's exactly what he never wants to do anyway. Just educate yourself with a few minutes of your time reading about him, at least you'll feel like you know something of his very important contribution to music, no matter what genre he's supposed to be in, whether you like it or not, he made all the difference.

Nuff said!

This discussion remembers me when i got upset by a "producer" i will not name.
Why ppl are famous ? Do they deserve it or not ?
That's the biggest question.

I can tell you a whole list of famous ppl being just lamers, stealing other ppl hard work.
Like Edison, who stole Tesla work on alternative electricity.
Or some obscure "producer" stealing on the net (and so probably here too) other ppl work and repacking it.
I'm a metal lover. Most metal ppl will tell you : Metallica is the best thrash metal band ever !
And Megadeth, Kreator... ?

This is what Metallica is doing now :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Z0GkrYAT78

And this is what Kreator is doing now :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ojpQ3LCeQTY

Kill your idols.
And remember : being famous doesn't mean anything.
